How often do you weigh yourself

Nihari I want more of your routine! Hijack away! I fid everyone has something to offer. Fiddle man thanks for the breakdown. I love all fruits and always have. I used to eat mass quantities but now can only finish half an apple. I love watermelon and pineapple and mango. Darn it. I will try sticking to apples and berries for a bit and splurge on watermelon in the summer. Do you think eating cheese as a snack is too much fat? I really need to kick this stall. I've lost 40pounds in 3months. That includes my preop weight loss of 14lbs. Come on, that's kinda slow. I am determined to find my sweet spot for losing. -

2 week stall at about 2 1/2 months post op
cyncitygirl replied to canuckpaisa's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm living it right now!! I'm doing everything right and nothing!! It's like my body wants to stay at a certain weight. Ugh -
I have been experiencing these weird moments of wretching. It has happened 3x all at night after about 3hours after eating I am drinking water (not too fast, not too much, just fine) and I will get that saliva feeling in my mouth that feels like I am going to vomit. I run to the bathroom, the saliva is going and I feel so sick and my stomach wretches and spasming but nothing comes up. It ends in like 4minutes but I feel nauseous the rest of the evening. Anyone experience that before? Also I have moments where my vision feels blurry like my eyes are not paying attention. I don't know how else to describe it. I guess I feel light headed and dizzy during the day.

How often do you weigh yourself
cyncitygirl replied to Joe I's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I weigh everyday naked and after a poop. Lol. I think it's a double edged sword as it can help check me into eating healthier because it creeps but its discouraging when it doesn't move in 12hours (how dare you, sir!!!). I'm going to try measuring instead because I've been working out a lot I got to see some results! -
3months and the scale isnt budging!
cyncitygirl posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's been months and I finally feel I have good restriction, I haven't been snacking, I have my workout routines and have been eating my healthy home made meals and I can't get lower than 220-217. The number just stays in between these three numbers. How can I get it to go down?!!! Today I start a new workout class, kettle bell kickboxing which should shake my body up but what can I do about the food to get this weight off??:0/ -

I believe you both but it's scary. Haha. Ok I will try it with healthy Proteins. My Water intake has been great! I am a Lapband to sleeve revision and my first two months I barely felt restriction. This month I finally feel what everyone is talking about and yet the losing has slowed down. Ill try eating more Snacks. Thanks. -
I'm looking for a watch I can keep track of my mile time, steps, heart rate but also take in the pool and time my laps or distance. Any recommendations?
-
Has anyone on here gotten pregnant with the sleeve and can share their experience losing or maybe not losing the baby weight easily/difficultly? After having the baby did the sleeve go back to the restriction or does it not work again?:0/
-
Before being sleeved I asked my surgeon about this and he said he doesn't recommend women get pregnant until maintenance, the pregnancy can be healthy if monitored. They just don't recommend it because we get the surgery to lose weight. But he gave me the winky eye as to say don't worry, if you get pregnant a year after we will monitor you to be healthy. I have no co-morbidities. I think you'll be safe if you're healthy overall. Congratulations! I still have to wait a while but I have baby fever. Everyday is a reminder to stay focused. Can you keep up posted on your progress? Are you losing or gaining weight? I wondered if the sleeve makes you feel MORE nausea since the stomach is more sensitive. Oh just the thought of more nausea I can't handle. Hope you're doing well.

What type of work out do you do at home? Started working.

I agree with the above posts. I have gotten a lot of great workouts off Pinterest. I bought a big ball for and and legs and resistance bands for my arms and I feel the burn. I also have Zumba on the Wii and Just Dance and I do that at night and work up a sweat! An the kids love to Dance too! -
It will get better. I felt the same way. Be good to yourself and let yourself grieve the loss of your body part. It's a natural feeling but it will pass.

Revision questions for those who can relate!
cyncitygirl posted a topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
Hi. I am 5 weeks out and I am a band to sleeve revision (one year apart) and AFTER my revision my surgeon told me ppl who had the band before usually lose slower and have less restriction. I feel this is exactly what has happened to me. Some days I am not that hungry and can eat 4bites and I'm full and then some days (like today, sadly) I feel hungry most of the day and eat 1000calories. On an average day I eat 700-850calories. Judging by others on this site it seems like most people 5weeks out can only eat 500calories!!! Am I a total f$&k up or what?! I feel 500cal is not possible for me. I don't feel like I'm exaggerating as I'm eating Protein but I don't have a problem eating 5-6 small portions. I have lost 15lbs since being sleeved 5weeks ago. Am I normal? Lol Anyone else feel they can eat more or less because of the band revision? -
I also had the band before getting sleeve. With the band I was also sick and throwing up. I started choking on my throw up in my sleep. That's when I had to get it removed. I was not living a happy life. The sleeve has been great for me this far. I would do it again. Good luck!
