Where the heck is my restriction
lwilliams65 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
5 weeks out... I ate an entire pack of weight control oatmeal for breakfast, still currently hungry. I seriously feel like I wasted my money. My stomach apparently was ginormous because I'm still always hungry. Some freakin bull. I'm so frustrated. And height has nothing to do with it cos I'm short as ****. -
A little over a year later. Started at 253 now 145. 20 pounds from goal. Thank you gastric sleeve. Changed my self esteem changed my life. I wish i had better preop pictures but I always stayed away from cameras. The first two are a day before surgery the last one was a couple weeks ago. I'd have this surgery again and again. The first few months adjusting was Hell but I wouldn't change a thing. I love my sleeve.

Ya know I really didn't do Anything special. I found the foods and portions that worked for me and stuck with it. I stick to a calorie budget and try to focus on protein intake. Everyone is difference so just do what works for you!'

I've lost 108 pounds so I'm definitely rockin some sag lol. I have saggy arms, saggy thighs and a saggy belly it doesn't matter how much I run or how many arm exercises I do the skin is still there. I see body reconstruction in my future but I guess I'd rather be thin and saggy than overweight and out of breath. Keep your head up you're still beautiful

Looking for size 16 jeans and xlarge shirts. I'm only 22 so I'm looking for clothes that match my age group. I have very trendy jeans I can trade size 18, 20, 22. I also have some trendy casual dresses I can trade, mostly size 2x. I always wore them with spandex. Ill give pictures if you do (: I realize if your giving away 16s you probably don't need bigger sizes but maybe you know someone in need of bigger sizes. If trading isn't an option for you, just let me know how much you're charging for clothes. Thank you

Gallbladder removal: friend or foe?
lwilliams65 replied to cyncitygirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Who wants to tell me what gall bladder attack symptoms are? I think I may have some problems with my gall bladder. I have a drs appointment set up for tomorrow but I'm still curious to know symptoms -
I found a coffee smoothie recipe on Pinterest and I added to it a little but now my stomach is in freakin knots and I didn't even drink half of the portion I have myself. I blended 2tbsp instant coffee, 2tbs vanilla powder creamer, 1/2cup ff milk, 1 scoop unjury unflavored protein powder, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1tsp cocoa powder, 2 packets of stevia and ice. It's about 215 calories and 25g protein. It makes A LOT and its super filling so its like breakfast and a snack but I didn't even get down half of my half portion and I'm getting really sharp pains 3 in. Above my belly button. Is it the caffeine from the coffee because everything else seems pretty harmless. I don't normally have caffeine so I'm not sure if anyone has had this problem? I had like two sips of a diet snapple about a month ago and didn't like it so I didn't finish it so that's my caffeine experience. I'm 11 weeks out today so I didn't think a little coffee would be harmful. What are your thoughts? Please don't be critical of calories, carbs, protein, nutrition value as that is not my question... I just want to know about dangers and side affects of caffeine if any. Thanks so much in advance.

Does caffeine cause pain?
lwilliams65 replied to lwilliams65's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thank you all for your suggestions. I will try everyone's suggestions and see what went wrong. I thought cinnamon was really good for blood pressure so that's why I used it but now I'm not sure. I don't drink milk hardly ever but I eat cheese like everyday so I'm not sure if its lactose intolerant but you never know. -

Wearing Jeans again.
lwilliams65 replied to gibson_girl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I wore jeans about 2 weeks after surgery but wearing bra was a whole different story. I couldn't wear a bra longer than an hour for over a month. Horrible. Wear what makes you comfortable. Dresses and spandex were are life savers -
Vision loss linked to bariatric surgery?!?

Am I A Success or Failure?
lwilliams65 replied to NotANewbie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm sorry you are struggling with an alcohol problem sweetie but you shouldn't have to hide who you are for fear of judgement. If "we" judge you than you shouldn't take advice from us anyways. I understand being embarrassed or feeling like you failed but YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE. Consuming that much alcohol that often is very dangerous. Part of the reason we all get surgery is because we want to be healthy. It's not worth it love to get surgery and lose all that weight if you are just going to pick up something else that's just as dangerous. I think if you went to therapy it would really help you, quite frankly I think the whole world needs therapy lol. But the reason I say therapy is because maybe there is an underlying issue that you aren't even aware of. I'm going to school to be a drug and alcohol counselor so I'm actually learning about all this. If you ever need to talk you can private message me and I WILL NOT judge you. Sometimes people don't even know what's bothering them or drawing them to have an addiction until they start talking to someone they can trust and then it all spills out. -

I am now a master farter!
lwilliams65 replied to AussieLady's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This thread totally cracks me up. The gas is seriously unbelievable. I tell my hubs all the time that I'm so grossed out by my bodily functions now. I even belch really loud and its embarrassing because I never use to do that unless I drank soda which was rare. But hey if it promotes wait loss... All the more power to us all -
Omg, I ate sugary crap for the first time and I'm definitely feeling the repercussion. It's honestly a good thing sugar makes me feel like garbage because I learn the first time and it is so not worth the way I feel. I feel like I have a hangover plus the way people feel after stuffing their face at thanksgiving. Major fail today but I learned my lesson so that's all that matters.
