    OMG! I cant believe it!

I was sleeved 12/5/12. I'm a slow loser but that's ok with me as long as I keep losing.

    B12 injections

I get 1 ml every 2 weeks. My hubby gives me the shot in my arm. I can definitely tell when it's time for my shot. My energy level goes down and I'll find myself yawning in the middle of the day.

    Health Improvements?

I am on half of the blood pressure meds I was on before WLS. I have gone from 3 asthma meds to 1. I had sleep issues that I no longer have. My primary care doctor of 25 years is amazed at the good changes my weight loss has made in my health.
  8. Yep, I've lost mine too. Good padded bras are now a must!!

    All of my December sleevers...

It's so wonderful to see all of the accomplishments everyone has experienced! I love that everyone is continuing to post. Especially since we'll all be coming up on our one year surgiversary soon. I propose that we all post before & after pics all through December on our one year date. Is anyone interested?
  10. I also take the B-12 shot. My husband gives it to me every 2 weeks. I can tell when it's time to have it because I start yawning in the middle of the day at work.

    Reality.....what a bummer!

KJ, Once your Grandsons start noticing that your losing weight, they'll be your biggest supporters. My Granddaughters told me they could finally put their hands together when they hugged me. They have these little smiles on their faces when they see me in cute clothes now. It'll get better!
  12. Awesome!! And thank you for checking in! I'm almost 9 months out and it's good to hear from people that have succeeded.

    Awesome Dana! You look GREAT!
  15. I am almost 9 months out and I can pretty much eat anything I want. I choose to stay low carb, low fat, low sugar in order to continue with my weight loss. I've treated myself to potatoes and bread a couple of times and have no problems with them except that bread sits heavy in my tummy. I drink water through a straw. I find that I don't want to drink water until at least 30 minutes after a meal because I feel too full to drink any. For me, the changes that the sleeve brought about are all good. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself. I've gone from a size 22 pants to a size 10 and I'm loving it! My only regret is I'm 49 and I wish I'd done it sooner.

I agree! Where are the pics!

    Feeling full?

I didn't get the full feeling until I was allowed regular food. For me, one loud quick hiccup and that's my signal that I'm full.

    worried

Hi, I really don't think one bite would hurt you. I would say make sure your walking enough. Walking helps with the gas. I was actually eating soft foods at 19 days post op so I really don't think one bite would hurt you. I hope you feel better soon.

    Not full

I too have a problem with plain water. Since artificial sweeteners bother me I add lemon to my water and that's how I drink it. Just another option.
