Funny, Laura. I'm from Texas to and Gamer is right. It's really a beautiful state. Now, the little town I live in? It's not uncommon to see someone riding a tractor down the road, lol. -
Wow! You look GREAT Butter! All of your hard work sure has paid off for you. You should be very proud of yourself.

Arts is right. Just put eggs aside for a month and then try again. The things you can eat will change. As time goes on you'll be able to eat more and more things that you can't in the beginning.

Wow!! You look amazing!!! Congratulations!!

When people ask "How did you lose weight?"
Chellemetime replied to MySleeveJourney's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
First I want to say that everyone needs to decide if and who they want to tell in their own way. What works for one person may not work for another. For me, I've told pretty much everyone. I was always the heaviest among my longtime friends after having children. They all saw me fight my weight for years. I walked into a backyard Bar-B-Que 9 months after my surgery and was treated with comments like "OMG! You look like you did in high school!" Of course, made me feel AWESOME!! Family: the comments are, "You look younger and younger each time I see you." Work colleagues: a Partner at my firm helped me decide to have VSG by telling me it was the best thing he ever did for himself when I approached him with questions. I decided to tell everyone at work what I was doing. Some of the females were kind of "catty" in the beginning but now that they see the work that still goes into it, they've started telling me what a good job I've done. Overall, I've had 4 different people consider VSG because of me putting it out there and if i can be the person that helps even one person decide to do what I now consider the best thing I ever did for myself, I'll feel great about it and be there to support them 100%. -
Laura, congratulations on your surgiversarry!! You've done an awesome job and I just hope I can be as successful as you have been. I'm sorry your having a rough time with the Holiday season.
