I am 8 weeks out. Yesterday I had about 4 pieces of sushi with no issues. Love that I can still have it with no problem. =]

Congratulations. I thought this day would never come. I was also "graduated" to soft foods today. I am so happy to feel some texture in my mouth, other than just blended food. Now on to create a new menu for soft food.

LOL, yes he is. As for the hospital stay, I had my surgery at 2 pm on the 27th, and was home by 1 pm on the 28th. The recovery was a breeze. I had minimal pain and was out and about by the 29th. I dislike the puree stage, I can't wait for soft foods, but he said no soft food until 8 weeks! =/ 3more weeks of baby food, ugh. -
