I really don't understand people. We were extremists when it came to food and eating and then we have surgery to help correct our lives and then people complain about the rate of weight loss which is just another extreme. Relax if your eating right and eating 1000-1200 calories a day YOUR BODY WILL LOSE THE WEIGHT!! Try to be grateful for everyday and focus on something other than weight loss like eating right and exercising and enjoying things we could not before. Celebrate every pound loss. So what if we lose a pound a week? It is a loss. It is extreme to believe we will lose it all quickly. It takes a year or more. Try to learn patience and how to be more moderate.

That was Ayre brand....I hate auto fill. You should listen to your DR but Pharmacists know a lot too.

Never take NSAIDS just Tylenol. I had the flu and they said any cough syrup without NSAIDs. NSAIDS cause ulcers in stomach and mouth and esophagus. They can cause GERD too. Saline nose spray and nose saline gel for soreness. I use Ayreshire brand nose gel and generic saline spray. I used Robitussin cough syrup with guaifeneson for congestion. The most important thing is STAY HYDRATED even if you don't get your protein in and rest, rest, rest.

Just curious about waiting time from eating to drinking

My DR says wait 30 minutes between eating and drinking which makes sense because I have to give it time to absorb the protein but does everyone else wait 30 minutes after drinking to eat? Some of you do it differently and I wonder why the difference in Dr advise. -

I know the waiting after you eat is correct but some people don't wait 30 before eating tell me about that. Why would drinking 15 minutes prior hurt you? -

Oh and PLEASE call your Dr tomorrow and just him or her what happened. Being dizzy is one thing but passing out for real can be a sign of a serious problem. Good luck friend.

may be sodium potassium problem. When I start getting dehydrated water doesn't help me so I drink some electrolytes in smart water or G2 and I feel better very quickly. It can't hurt to rule that out. Some people need it like me.

I'm six weeks out and have eaten 1000-1200 a day since week two. I've lost 32 lbs and cont to lose. I know the body needs fuel to burn fat and the mathematics of weight loss are correct. Calories in calories out. It is true , andI am a woman, that if your body thinks your starving because it doesn't have enough calories it will hang on to the fat and metabolism will slow down. That is OK in the beginning but not good long term if you want to save your muscles hair and skin elasticity.

No I still eat 1000-1200 and continue to lose.

Walk it off like a half mile walk if you can. It is the only way and I used pain killers at night because I could NOT lie down.
