  1. 1-3 pounds. And honestly depends on when I weigh myself. If I weigh in the morning, I have no weight gain. If I weigh at night, I fluctuate. I'm 2 1/2 years out.

    Alcoholic beverages

I like fru-fru drinks like frozen daiquiris. I'm only able two get 2 down and it takes ALL night. I also like hurricanes. Watch it though. Alcohol hits harder than before. One or two drinks and I'm done.

    My Guy LIKES big Women...

When I met my husband, he said I was beautiful, at 220. The morning my husband rolled over and said good morning beautiful. I'm 125 pounds. He says no matter what, I'm the most beautiful woman he knows. He's a keeper.
  4. I like the boho look. I'm 52. I just figured out I'm now a medium and a size 9. All the clothes I bought last summer are 12s. Nothing fits. Shopping time again. This is getting expensive. Anyway, I look younger than I am. I'm able to get away with younger clothes, not to young. My fashion. Try it on. If I like it ( and I have things I can wear it with) I buy it. My favorite are long flowing summer dresses. The ones with the slit up the side. Husband says I'm still trying to hide.

Carb loading the day before a big hike

BTW, 13 miles. I'm impressed. I was doing six a couple times a week. Accidentally got turned around once and did 11.

I have no answer. Just wanted to say I want to go with you! I had total knee replacement surgery, partially due to previously being obese. I'm stuck at home!

    Unofficial denial :(

Put quarters in your pockets. (me trying to make you smile) My co-morbodities got mine pushed through. Somehow the doctors staff did miracles.
  8. @@esskay77 I wish I could get back to hiking. I can barely walk a block now. (had total knee replacement surgery) BUT, my walking stick is by the door waiting on me.
  9. @@esskay77 Wishing you luck. There were a few times I got stuck. One of them my body went into starvation mode because I wasn't eating. Eat right and keep on movin' on.
  10. @@esskay77 No words of advice. I just kept doing what I'd been told to do. But I will tell you this, I've basically been sick since January 19t . Flu, bronchitis, pneumonia, mrsa infection, migraines, strained neck muscles, helacobactor pylori, knee replacement surgery... I don't know if that kick started it again, or it was just time. I'm healthy again now and still losing weight.

@@AvaFern It took a year for them to approve my gastric sleeve surgery. My BMI was to low. Somehow the doctors staff got it pushed through. Don't give up hope yet.

Obesity! Will that word follow me to the grave :(

@@AngelaWilliamsMD He removed the obese diagnosis. It was in the visit section of the portal. He was still putting the diagnosis of obese after each visit. None of my conditions exist anymore. I'm very fortunate. I noticed. His notes for each appointment are the same, exactly. Copy and paste.

Obesity! Will that word follow me to the grave :(

I was looking at my medical records on line through the online portal. I think my doctor copies and pastes. It said I was obese (at 125 pounds), had gerd , high blood pressure and sleep apnia. None of which is true anymore. I tried to get him to fix the record. He did finally take obese off. I think it was very unprofessional of the both of them. I'm sorry this happened to you.
  16. Make sure to drink plenty of water. My husband had the surgery and didn't drink enough water. Kept fainting. Ended up hospitalized for two days.
  17. Two days, surgeons decision. I could have went home that night.
  18. I just realized I'm 2 1/2 years out, not 1 1/2 years out. I had ask my husband. He was wrong. :-) I stayed at 140 forever.

    May I get some advice?

I don't have the answer. About once a week I take a laxative. I did just recently find out though. Cherries seem to have the same affect. Going to see how that works.
