    Feeling full or what?

My doctor says, I eat to fast, I don't chew enough, and sometimes - because I eat to fast - I eat a bite or two to much. I get stomach aches, and sometime sick. I'm 2 1/2 years out. I'm getting better about it though.

    I WANT TO DRINK!

@@CANDI254 I get sick, but it's not the water. I eat to fast and don't chew enough.

    I WANT TO DRINK!

NOW I remember why no liquids. You can basically wash the food away. No food. No nutrients.

    I WANT TO DRINK!

You'll be glad you did it. Congratulation on the weight loss. BTW, I only sip water with meals and hardly any at all.

    Secret sleever

I didn't tell anyone but immediate family at first. BUT, if someone ask, I tell them. Makes no difference to me what they think. I did it for me, not them.

    I WANT TO DRINK!

Someone actually said something to you? I do take sips of water with my food. Sips mind you. I'm 2 1/2 years out, I forgot why we aren't supposed to drink with our meals. Things seem to always get stuck going down.
  7. It sound like your getting back on track. Besides, I wouldn't obsess on 1 or 2 pounds. I weigh a pound or two more at night than I do in the morning.
  8. Oops! Rustbel4ti said that!
  9. Well, I did have pain. I didn't want company. AND my husband said I was crabby. BUT, it didn't last very long, a few days. Like kingdavid757 said, everybodies journey is different . Don't dwell to much on it. Good luck!
  10. Oops! Spelled your handle wrong! That's right, you're a threat to fat!
  11. Putting on cheer leading outfit and getting pom-poms! Go @threatrejo go!

    Alcoholic beverages

@Ivlpar Stuff happens. I see a lot of people picking vodka. I know when I was on Adkins, I drank diet coke and rum. Yes, yes, I know we aren't supposed to drink alcohol or drink carbonated beverages. But some of of us "chose" to imbibe in moderation. I can hardly drink. It hits me hard AND I get full. Only my opinion!

*shaking head* Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Everyone is on their own journey. Nothing is black and white.

    Frustrated

They say the surgery removes the hunger hormone, is that feeling true? It did for me. I rarely ever get hungry. I have to remind myself to eat.
  15. Just wait! It gets better from here on out.
  16. @@lachellove Of course you are worrying. It's major surgery. You have every right to worry. Stay strong. It's worth it.

    What Diet Do You Follow?

Ummmm.... No diet. After surgery most things I'm not supposed to eat, don't appeal to me. The problem I have is I'm not hungry. I basically force myself to eat.

More water! I didn't drink enough and ended in hospital dehydrated.
  21. You can do it! I'm wearing my cheerleader outfit, which I can wear now, waving my pom poms around. Yeah @@lachellove!

Carb loading the day before a big hike

@@hikergirl14 My son calls me linebacker - because I push through things and nothings stops me. He also calls me hippy for my views and the way I dress at times.
  23. I went from a 38 D to a 36 C. And no, they aren't perk . Husband says there fine, but he's being kind. I lay down they disappear. Ah well, I'm still glad I did it.
  24. Not what you ask. lol! I need to read and not scim.
  25. Plain and simple. I didn't like the idea of a port. Also, I thought with getting part of my stomach removed, I'd have an easier time losing weight.
