I'm having dizzy spells several times a day. It happens EVERY time I stand up. I'm 3 1/2 years out. But the fainting spells started after I lost 100 pounds. They are starting to scare me. I should say my bp was 100/78 last wee .

Ditto! Keep forgetting. But like someone said earlier, I'm still a card carrying member. My medical records still read obese, even now. Still don't understand that one. -
BTW, I think the guy was rude. Just my opinion.

Well, I did end up looking gaunt. But it wasn't because of WLS. It happened after the WLS. I was throwing up everything I ate. Waited to long to go to the doctor. Ended up being helacobactor pylori. I think I spelled that right. NOW, my family kept blaming the WLS. I looked sick. I was sick. Had NOTHING to do with WLS.

Wow! I'm sorry. I'd sure be asking doctor and NUT about this. -
I don't think your stomach stretches back out, but you have to learn to eat healthy. Smaller portions, which the sleeve helps with, more protein intake, and lower carb intake. No grazing. You can have a few of your favorites. BUT small portion and very rarely. That's my two cents.

I never did the band. I had my sleave performed almost three years ago. Had it done right before Thanksgiving and I had to cook to Thanksgiving dinners. Ugh! I digress, I've never had GERD. But I did throw up a lot. My fault, not the sleeves. I had two really bad habits. I ate to fast. I didn't chew enough. Once I got them under control everything has been smooth sailing. -

Gastric sleeve surgery. Longterm success. Well, I started out at 230, I am down to 125. (At least last week I was.) I'm 2 1/2 years out. I'd call that long term success. But it's up to you. My husband has gained a large portion of his back. He's eating larger portions, carbs and sweets. I eat carbs and sweets occasionally, but very small portions and very seldom.
