when to incorporate strength training post-op

According to my doctor, lose skin has to do with age and genetics. However, strength training is good to "help" with the matter, if you will. My surgeon gave me the green light to start at the next week (it will be 3 weeks). I am 29, and had no complications at all, however, so that may be why. Just do what the surgeon says...it could be different for everybody:)

    Regrets?

I would say that you have to do what's best for you. The sleeve was the way to go for me because, going back and forth on different fad diets, etc. was not for me. I would lose, but it would come back. This is a way to help me ensure that I could lessen the opportunities drastically that the weight would not come back. And as my surgeon told me: "We know everything there is to know about the stomach! We've been removing it for years! Just this time, its to lose weight, its for your health." That really put me at ease. I was just sleeved on 02/01, and 14 days in, I've lost -19lbs! So excited about the future!

4.5 months out and down 107 pounds!

Ok, thanks for the heads up:). I have heard that protein and liquids are the key. I, too, have been struggling with the powder shakes...waaay too thick! I will try the slim fast drinks and see how they work. Congrats!!!!

That's amazing!! I got sleeved on 2/1, and I am down -19lbs as of day of weigh in, in only 14 days! This is great news!! Are you doing protein shakes, and getting in lots of liquids?
