Feel like I can eat too much...
kitkat replied to sherrypep's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
sounds like a lot but it really needs to be measured to tell. It looks like you are dong well with your weight loss. If you were not able to eat this much you might loose too much weight. Maybe the surgeon left you a larger size stomach. I am about 8 months out and I can eat about 3/4 of a lean cuisine. but not all of the mashed potatoes. -

Take him in. It is nothing to mess around with. Trust your instinct. If it was to take him, do it. Good luck -
I almost walked out of the surgery prep ward. I was convinced I wasn't going to wake up. I freaked out. Then I thought about my kids and the fact that if I didn't do something I was going to put myself out of the picture early for sure. I had to think that this is a life saving surgery. May not be immediate but it adds years to your life. YEARS. I had to make a drastic move to save my life and to make the life I have the best it can be. I have lost 73 lbs since December. I have 41 to go. I know now that I will be around a lot longer than I would have been without the surgery. Yup second thoughts, scared out of my mind, and freaked out but it was the best decision I have ever made and I would do it again. and again.

I cut about 6 inches off. I'm ok with it for now and if I weren't I would be out of luck because it doesn't grow fast anymore! Oh I wish my hair would stop falling out \ -

I just started getting to the gym four to five days a week for the past month. I have now worked up to walking (3.5-5.2 mph) a 5k a day. It is 3.1 miles and I do it on a steep incline so that I can burn more calories. I never thought I could get ready for a 5 k so fast but it is very doable. Good Luck

All of my December sleevers...

I've been stuck for months! I am still down only 73 lbs. I have started going to the gym 4 days a week and I hope it will help me start up again. I can eat more now but I try not to. It is no where near what I used to be able to eat and I don't ever go over 1200 cal. a day and no one gets fat on that. I have to just keep going! -

I wanna live where you are! I want milk straight from the farmer. How do you keep up with this? Is it due to allergies? My little one is a vegetarian and it is very difficult for me to cook three different dinners daily but I eat 4 oz my daughter doesn't eat meat and my son is 16 and eat everything all the time. It sounds like you are able to juggle many different needs or preferences. What do you use to sweeten anything, besides cane sugar? I have tried agave and stevia but they don't taste very good. Sorry your post caught my interest so I have a ton of questions. -

The site shows that she logged in at 3:30 this morning. I hope that means she is ok and if so should post so that the people trying to help who are now worried about her can stop being so worried. -
