Well I'm a little over 12 hours away from my surgery and I'm becoming more and more excited. Today I was my liquid diet day and it went by very quick and easy. How are my fellow January Sleevers holding up?

Sleeved Jan 30 - just home
Corey E replied to moregoodtimes's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Congrats. I was also sleeved on the 30th. Sleeping has been an adventure but it's been getting better. The gas has been crazy but walking helps out a lot. I think I'm burning a hole in the rug in my living room. -
I'm holding up well. Just been really tired and gassy. But I have been walking and drinking plenty of water and protein shakes to stay hydrated.

Sounds good to me.

Oh okay. So you get an extra week of the diet. That's a good thing.

That sucks. What happen?

Jenn said Overlook will call the day before and let us know what time it will take place. I'm with you I want it first thing in the morning. I kinda started. I don't officially start it until next week. But I went out and got some Isopure from the Vitamin Shoppe. They are going to take some getting use to as far as taste goes. Have you started yours yet?

Cool, I haven't met Dr. Goyal yet. Dr. Forrester is my surgeon and I will also be at Overlook on Jan 30th. Is Jen your dietitian?

I'm also scheduled for 1/30/13. I'm just getting myself mentally prepared for it. So far so good.

I was thinking about about this issue once I got word I was approved for my surgery. After reading all of your comments I feel much better about the situation.

Congrats on losing the 52lbs and good luck with your surgery.

Corey E replied to halfofheather's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Dr. Forrester and the staff at the Bariatric Center are fantastic. They all made me feel very comfortable and helped me in anyway I needed. You can look up more information at www.njbariatriccenter.com. -

Hello All, First my name is Corey and I think this is a great idea for people to introduce themselves. I'm married to a wonderful woman and I'm also the proud father of two beautiful girls. My surgery date is Jan 30th 2013 and I'm looking forward to a new lease on life. My current weight is 320 lbs and I'm hoping to reach my target weight of 225 lbs. I'm looking to meet some great people here to share stories and hopefully answer some questions I may have while I embark on this Journey. Good luck to all.
