Hi, everyone. I am Ginger, 30 yrs old, and married to my Prince Charming (Donny). He brought 3 children to our marriage- Andrew- 17, Caitlin- 15, and Justin- 7. The two boys live with us. And... September 17, 2012, our bundle of joy was born to a mother who could not keep her, and we brought home our little Brooklyn from the hospital. We have 3 months before the adoption is final. <3 Brooklyn is Korean/American, and my shining star- since I was/am unable to conceive. I am employed by (don't hate me) one of America's leading health insurance company. I absolutely love working for them. My husband owns his own painting company- has been painting for over 20 years. It was a family owned business that my husband is now taking over. My life consists of church, church, and more church. We are the youth leaders, and on the praise team at our local assembly. My husband plays the drums, I play the piano, and I also sing. I have 4 brothers and a sister- and 20 nieces and nephews, 4 great nephews, and a great niece. Whew! Big family! I am nearly 3 weeks out, and I am 27 lbs down. My biggest thing is learning to stay off the scales!!! I am addicted to them. Sad story.

I went through a stall a week and a half out of surgery. I was stalled for 2 weeks, now I am losing again. Keep in mind (cliche I know)- you didn't gain it in a couple months. You won't lose it all in a couple of months. Good luck!

I am here in deep east Texas. Close to Texarkana. Sleeved 12/4/12, down 14 lbs and have already stalled a week with weight loss, but am losing inches. 23 lbs down from my 1 week preop weight of 309.

300 lbs down... this video made me bawl like a baby. Thank you for the encouragement. Sometimes the Lord puts people in your path (namely you) to show you it can be done. Thanks!

Sleeved December 4th. Walked my first half mile today and am going back to work tomorrow. From 309 a week preop to now 286.

Hurley- I work for said insurance company- just not the Alabama branch. You might want to call bcbs of Alabama and seen if they may be needing additional info. That would be my first step. Tell them you need to check status on a submitted predetermination and if they need additional info you want to ask them what additional info is needed and then contract your Dr office and let them know what bcbs is needing. It usually doesn't take that long unless they are needing more info or more supporting documentation from your Dr. Hope this helps.
