Hi Everyone, Does anyone else every have their band feel really tight sometimes, and then like its not there at all other times? Quite often I will drink something and can feel my band, or eat and the food instantly feels hung up for a few minutes, then clears.(this tends to happen at night and hurts!) Then other times I can eat almost anything, and alot,with no problem and no pain. Am I the only one? Staci Orlando FL banded in Mexico 12-14-04

Hi Scotty, Congrats on your new band.... I caught a five and one half hour flight the day after my surgery (with a four hour layover in N.M.) from San Diego to Orlando. Then drove myself forty five minutes from the airport to home, and was back to work the following day. You should be fine to drive soon. Hope you feel better. Im newly banded on Dec 14th. I notice I can drink quite a bit of liquid at one time. Is this normal?? Staci

Kristy, Let me respond directly to you....NO you did not return calls to me, as a matter of fact I did not hear from you once you had my $1200 fee till one week after my surgery! I went through my entire surgery experience with out YOU or anyone else from belighter even bothering to call to see if I was dead or alive!!! I did try several times after I returned to Florida (2 days after my surgery) to call you with very important questions and needing help and I all got was your voice mail!! I finally reached you the next Tuesday (A WEEK AFTER MY SURGERY). Some follow up care! The few times I called you after that you were always brief and rushed. You did actually call me once or twice when you needed something, like info on you and your children coming to Orlando to stay at the resort I manage. Some of the staff at belighter did try to assist me in your absence, which was often. I dont know who is more full of it, you or Ann Marie! Could be a tie. Kim, This is so good to hear. I just had my first fill last week (only 1cc) and I can still eat a Big Mac, NO PROBLEM. I too thought my band had left me! I am set up for a second fill this Thursday. Hope it works...... Staci Orlando Fl banded in Mexico 12-14-04

Hi All, I sent an email to Ann Marie yesterday, and received a really unusal phone call from her last night apologizing to me like crazy for her company and Kristy letting me down. She told me she had fired Kristy last Wednesday for numerous reasons. ie. making false promises, diverting company funds to strange accounts, etc. etc. She spoke to me for about 30 minutes. She also told me she was not even aware I was a client of her company, but that since my email she had located my file?????? Pretty weird! She also promised to call me first thing this morning to help me get my medical records and a receipt for my lap band sugery which I was not given. I have yet to hear from her today. She told me she has relocated to Arizona to take over the office there that "Kristy screwed up so badly." She also told me she had "cleaned house there and let everyone go as they were all relatives of Kristy." I also told Ann Marie that I had left numerous messages for her over the past several weeks a never received a call back from her. She claimed she was unaware of these messages. She also did hold a phone conversation with me about 3 weeks ago via cell phone regarding transportation info I needed for Mexico, and we had to end the call due to a bad connection....but yet she didnt know I was a client, or remember speaking with me????? The phone call only got stranger the futher into I got with her. She was telling me she wanted to send me a check to help pay for my next fill here in Orlando, and that she would fly me out to Las Vegas if I wanted to for a fill there. She was all over the place during this call, and sounded really stressed, upset and pretty confused. Go figure..... Staci Orlando FL banded in Mexico 12-14-04

I thought I was the only one dumped in the dark by BeLighter. Once they had my cash I didnt hear back from anyone till a week after my surgery and this was only when I called them back. Keep in mind I did call 2 days after my surgery with important help questions, and I couldnt seem to get a return call from Kristy (my rep) until I finally reached her the following Tuesday, a week later. I cant think how many times Ive called for assistance, and cant get a return call back. What a scam!!! When they do speak with you its very fake and rushed. Guess they are to busy scamming the next bunch. Hi All, First, Ive lost 22lbs in one month! YEAH!!! Tomorrow I drive to Miami (4hours) for my first fill. But, I have a concern. My time of the month (period) will start tonight, and I had herad that can affect a fill. True??? Should I wait?? This fill is $600 and a 8 hour drive, so I want it to work well. Sunshine Girl, I can so relate to your airport fiasco. I left San Diego airport the day after my lap bad was placed (after 3 flight bumps due to fog) I finally got on a flight only because I held my shirt up for the ticket agents and showed my sugery cuts! I was desperate!! Then flew into New Mexico with a five hour layover. I to sucked on some soup broth at the airport while my hubby pigged out.
