I cancalled my surgery because I know that I would lose the weight but my support ( my husband and son) are not ready to change their lifestyle. I didn't want to be thinner but unhappy because they weren't Getting healthy. I have lost 25 lbs on my own though. I'm in controll. Not a sleeve. Not a band. ME

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone cx their surgery because their nerves got the best of them? Did you reschedule?

I just keep thinking I'm not ready to do the post diet, I've been able to stick to the preop diet of two protein shakes and a veggie/salad and grilled chicken dinner. No bread/ potatoes/ sugar caffeine or soda ( haven't had soda in months anyway). It's day 8 and I'm not hungry and my salads and chicken haven't tasted good since last Thursday. I just keep thinking I'm not ready and I want to cx. Scared and sad

Surgery is a week away and I'm freaking out, not about the surgery but the after what if I can't do it?

Thank you for the encouragement. Still head vs health. My head says I'm not that obese. I dont have any comorbidity. I have lived my whole life over weight and at 35 both my parents has passed away from major health issues. I'm trying to do what I can to live healthy because I can't change my genetics. I have a son who I want to see achieve great things . I miss my mom and dad so much and I grieve the time he ( my son) has lost with them. So I'm in it to get healthy and live a healthy lifestyle. Praying my nerves don't get the best of me.
