    2 Months Out

I'm so happy. Today, I weighed at the gym. (I have been really scared of the scale.) My surgery was on December 12th. I started out at 327 and today I weigh 270. 57lbs down and 30 since day of surgery. I also have gone from a size 26-28 to a size 18. Let's see what I can do in another month. Yay!!! I pray you all are doing well.
  3. @smallbird I love your answers!!!! I'm 29 and want all of those things...
  4. @NurseGrace Hi! What's crossfit? I've never heard of it.
  5. No prob Guys!!!! This site is amazing for sleevers. I'm making my kids the chicken nuggets she has listed on her site served with Chinese Sweet and Sour Sauce & fried brown rice. Yum!
  6. Also, I forgot to mention, DATING...Just dropped a bad weight of 8 years and now looking for love and my future husband!!!! Maybe I'll find him in my new bikini...J/K!!!! LOL!
  7. Yes, yes, yes!!!!! Love you guys answers...Shopping for super cute clothes, high heels, interviewing for a higher paying job with confidence, school reunion (just missed my 10th), family portrait with my boys, sexy halloween costume, summer fun and a hot bikini. I still can't wait.

    I hate this surgery.

@OnAJourney Buffalo Wild Wings huh? I am now in Week 4 (Soft Food) and loving it. My 2nd week we celebrated my Mom's birthday @ Carolina Kitchen. I had to watch my family eat dinner there, at Christmas, etc. It was hard but as some people here are saying, it gets easier.
  9. I forgot...ROLLER COASTERS...There's so much I just can't wait. Hopefully, fall in love and find my future husband.
  10. I used to figure skate as a child, I'd love to do that again. Also, I'd love to be a runner and go crazy at the playground with my kids.

    I hate this surgery.

@gettinMeBack Congrats!!!! You look amazing Girly! My weight is mostly in my belly, I can't wait for it to come down like yours did. Keep up the good work! I love all of you guys responses! Yesterday was the first day I had close to 90g of Protein. It truly does get better. Also, I agree that food taste different now. I don't know if it's mental, but about 2 weeks before surgery, food started to taste different. I have to say, I enjoyed some bland soft chicken with a McDs packet of Spicy buffalo sauce yesterday that was amazing and some salmon and glazed carrots today. Keep an open minds and as my lady on Bariatric Foodie says 'Play with your food.'

How soon did you go back to work?

A week later. I know what you guys are saying 'You're crazy...' I am a contractor. I don't get paid if I don't work. I felt fine. I carry a bag with me everyday with protein, vitamins, MIO for my water and now soft foods. I'm 3 1/2 weeks out and I feel great. The first 3 weeks, before food, I can admit, after work an picking up kids and homework, I feel asleep quickly and was always tired.

    I hate this surgery.

I rarely get hungry. I think about food all day long, but it got better when I got to puréed/soft food this week. I have been eating in small amounts and loving it. No more eating quickly. I think people mistake hunger with cravings. I just took my kids to McDs and damn those fries smelled delicious. I got a snack wrap, grilled. I ate the chicken out of it in small pieces. It felt like I was able to enjoy my meal partially. LOL! Get some MIO for the water. It helps. I'm working on making protein shakes better. The thickness has been bothering me.

    Some people here are meanies

@edz2129644 I so agree with you and I'm dying laughing at the same damn time. You're going to find nastiness wherever you go. Mine is primarily at work. I ignore it and keep a smile on my face. Remember misery loves company. Don't let a few detour (did I spell that correctly...Ugh) you from a site you enjoy. When people post a nasty comment, I simply reply back with a syrupy sweet comment or just ignore. I found some nasty comments on a new site I just posted called Bariatric Foodie, but I love the site too much to let it keep me from coming back everyday. Have fun and keep rocking your sleeve Girly!!!!
