Stall be danged, I'm in a size M today!
bryantcj replied to NMJG's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I can definitely attest to that. I haven't lost any significant weight in about a month. I've been fluctuating within the same weight range. But I went clothes shopping this weekend and was able to get into a size 20 pants and jeans(I started at a size 28). So even though I weigh everyday, I try not to get upset when the scale doesn't move. My doctor told me that I'm past the six month mark and it will become harder to lose the pound so sticking to the plan is key! Congrats on your success! -

Fiber one has a new protein bar that is super delicious. I love the salty caramel nut variety. About 10 grams of protein I think.

I want to know honest calorie intake
bryantcj replied to lwilliams65's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was barely getting in 700 calories until yesterday. The manual that I was provided by the docs office says that it's best to get between 1000 and 1300 calories for optimum weight loss. I must say that I've been in stall after stall but I've started losing again after I increased the intake. -
feb 2013 sleevers weigh in
bryantcj replied to kathyhalls's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The surgery for me was no cake walk in the beginning. I couldn't get in enough fluid and was borderline dehydrated. I was nauseated constantly and couldn't move my bowels for about 3.5 weeks. I fought depression for about four weeks. But now I sometimes have to remind myself that I even had the surgery. I do still fight to get in protein and water but even that's getting better. So I can promise that if you hang in there things will get much better. Those first few weeks were the worst but it should get easier every day. -

I'm in the exact same boat. Sleeved 2/26 but haven't seen the scale move all of last week. I do realize that my body is like "what the French toast just happened", so I refuse to get discouraged and just keep pushing. Hang in there....We will be victorious!! MRSBRYANT

I was sleeved on 2/26. Down 30lbs including preop. Lost 16 lbs on liquid diet. Having a hard time getting in Water and Protein. Hopefully I will figure out what I need to do to kick this WL into high gear. MRSBRYANT -

Im ready but very nervous.
bryantcj replied to UPRR Wifey's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I wasn't nervous until I arrived at the hospital. That quickly passed though when I reminded myself that I was doing this for me!! I'm four days postoperative now and having good and bad days. I must say though that I'm starting to feel like a human again!! You will do just fine!! When is your surgery? MRSBRYANT -
