FEB 25th! So excited!
newcharnise13 replied to jennaleigh1992's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgery date is the 25th also, I start my preop diet on the 12th. My preop diet isn't as bad as others I'm on a 1000 calorie diet which consist of protein shake, meat and veggies. I'm so excited, I know the 25th is gonna come so fast. Good luck everyone!! -
I went to my first seminar yesterday, and I am so excited all my worries are gone and all my questions were answered. The surgeon told us that we are already approved for the surgery since we are getting it done at a military hospital which is great. Another great thing was during the seminar, we got our blood work done and talked to the nutritionist so all that is already done. The only thing left to do is the psych. Evaluation, the ultrasound, and the Pre-op appointment, the surgeon said the whole process can take only 8-10 weeks. I'm super excited and I had to share lol.

Thanks, and I'm at Fort Bliss, Texas. -
I haven't been sleeved yet, but I was wondering am I the only one that doesn't have a goal weight? I don't necessarily want to be skinny I just want to be healthy. I've been overweight my whole life so any weight I lose I will be grateful for. I think when I get physically, mentally, and emotionally comfortable in my own skin I think I will be happy. For the people that do set goal weights, does it make the weight loss more like a challenge? Was there a reason you choose that goal weight? Just curious. TIA

I feel the same way. I go to my first seminar tomorrow and I feel like I want this so bad and I keep thinking about everything that can go wrong. I think, dream, and talk about it everyday. I wanted to get it 2 yrs. ago but I ended up getting pregnant and was told I had to wait for a year because I had a c section. So here we are a year later and I'm so ready. I feel like I'm so close but also so far away from the biggest life changing experience in my life.

Shopping, cross my legs when I sit, wear sexy heels, ride on roller coasters and not being afraid that I might be too big to fit, ride bikes with my daughter, great sex with my skinny husband lol, and go to a beach and enjoy myself instead of being insecure.
