Hi, I will be sleeved in 7.5 hrs. I cannot sleep I am nervous but also excited. I just pray to God that everything will go well. Please say a prayer for me. I will pray for all the sleevers too. Hugs and thank you.

Hi Chantell, I am March 21 too. I am tired of the liquid diet and cannot wait for the day of the surgery. I am very nervous too and have not been able to sleep lately, but I just want to get it over with and be sleeved. Take care and good. Everythng will be OK. I also have a daughter and I worry about her.

I had my pre-op today and got the green light for my surgery on the 21. I was also told to start my 2 week liquid diet tomorrow. They want me to use the "new directions" shakes (I heard they are awful). Please wish me luck. Good luck and prayers go to all my fellow sleevers. Hugs

March 21, HURRAYYYY!!!!!! Tomorrow is my pre-op and I will start my liquid diet on Thursday. BigDaddy Joe thank you for putting the list together, that was very nice of you.

Hi, I will be having my sleeve March 21 at Lahey, Burlington, MA. I have inflamatory arthritis. I take plaquenil, celebrex and neurontin. I am concern about how to deal with the pain if I cannot take my medicine. Please I will appreciate any information/advise, I will also love to hear about your experience and how it has affected your arthritis and quality of life. Thank you.

Hi everyone, my surgery date is March 21 at Lahey, Burlington, MA, but I live in Nashua, NH. I have my pre-op March 6 and start my 2 week liquid diet March 7. No food just 3-4 shakes a day and sf Popsicles:( Best of luck to all of us. Anybody from this area?

Hi, voltaren does come in pills and they also have patches. Good luck with with every thing and let's hope that after the surgery our joints will feel better. I already had one knee replacement and want to postpone having the other one as much as I can. Thank you for sharing your experience. It gives me hope

Thank you Annabelle, I started this whole process at the beginning of August. I had to go through a six month process that was required by my insurance. My surgery was initially scheduled for Feb 14, but the it was posponed to March 21, so my date is almost here. Best of luck with everything, you will see the time will go by fast.

I just checked my insurance website and it changed from yesterday "pending" to "APPROVED". I am so excited!!! My surgery is March 21.

Hi Taurabird, you are giving me good news. One of the main reasons for me having this surgery if taken a lot of the weight fast to help with my osteoarthritis. I would love if I can get to stop some of my medications. Specially celebrex, since it is so expensive. I know several people that take voltaen and they say it is wonderful for the pain. Unfortunately I cannot take it, I am allergic to it, I break up in hives and the two times I have taken it I have ended up in the ER. Good luck to you. When is your surgery?

Thank you Maalleh. I am glad I will be able to continue with my celebrex. I have been taken celebrex for 7 years. I have taken Tramadol in the past when I had total knee replacement. but I did not like the way it made me feel.. I am getting nervous as the day approaches. Good luck with your jouney.
