    Sleepy ALL day today

Fiddleman I am sorry to hear this is happening. I hope you can get in to see your doc and find some relief soon. Sending good vibes your way!

    HELP..WIRING MONEY

I sent a personal check for the deposit and paid the balance with a cashier's check after my pre-op testing was done. I would not send a wire.

Fit Bit One and the Aria Scale

The Fitbit Flex was delayed until May 1. So sad about that! For anybody tracking food and Water in MyFitnessPal it can push the data over to Fitbit, too.

    Mapmyrun or similar app?

I started with Nike+ but found it to be quite limited in capabilities. I now use Endomondo and like all the feedback, especially ascent and descent data. I wonder what the premium version has.

    Traveling alone?

I also went alone to Dr. Aceves and I was just fine. A friend was going to go with me but at the last minute was unable to due to work obligations. Once I got there I was glad she hadn't come because I wouldn't have wanted to worry about her (was she bored? was she having fun? was she comfortable at night? was she warm? was she cold? did she have enough to do to keep busy? was she getting enough to eat/drink? etc.) and I was able to focus on myself and doing what I needed to do to heal and be comfortable. You will get to know your fellow sleevers during the pre-op stuff you have to do and once you all go to the hotel you may find yourself dining with them like I did. You will check in on them and they will check in on you - so you will have that support. Plus, I found that I got extra visits from both Aceves and Campos since I was alone. If I needed anything (lights on/off, door open/closed, etc.) the nurse was there within seconds. You'll do great!

  11. Aceves doesn't use morphine nor Vicodin. You will get sublingual Supradol which will help if you are crampy.
  12. Add baby wipes to your list and a supply of tampons. They are often hard to come by!

    liquid pain meds ?

I was given sublingual Supradol (Toradol in the US) for pain. I ended up not needing it and save it for when I have headaches!

  15. I currently use sugar-free pudding and want to try unsweetened cocoa powder and stevia drops, but can't think of anything else! I see some use Torani, too. Anybody have other ideas?
  16. You may want to throw in a bit of Preparation H to the mix, too!
