I don't feel bad about the bites, it's my mistake. Personally I am happy it's grilled chicken and not any carbs. Nurse said if I didn't have a problem with it then I shouldn't worry! But to be safe, for my stomachs sake I will stay on protein shakes til week 4.

Thanks! I already called nurse. Im glad im craving grilled chicken instead of sweets though! Lol back to just protein shakes til week 4...mmmm yum!

Ok I confess. I ate 3 small bites of grilled chicken today. All I have wanted is grilled chicken for the past 5-6 weeks. I feel bad but it is protein! But I am only 3 weeks post op...but when I left the hospital my dr. told me I could have full liquid diet and saltine crackers. Just scared I hurt my stomach. Please no negative comments, were all going through the same kinda thing...and if u didn't cheat...more power to u.

Hello all! 19 days post op and I'm down 18lbs so far. Still sore only around one incision....but other than that, I feel great!

Anyone experience sharp pain above belly button. The doctors office informed me that they put a stitch there to prevent hernia. But I still have pain...is this normal? I have eaten a few soft foods only because I was out of town where I could not get to a protein shake...I'm scared I created a leak or something....please tell me pain is normal?!!! So worried....

Yea I was actually doing pretty good pain wise for a couple days but the last couple of days I have hurt alot. Yesterday it felt like a pulling pain which I spoke to the nurse and she said that was normal. And that I would probably have that pain for up to 6 month's. But now it's a sharp pain definitely above the naval

Anyone what percent chance u have to get a hernia after surgery? 10 days post op...had my post op appt and they said everything looks great...but I still have a little pain...am I just being paranoid?

Its ok. It will be worth it. It was the best decision I made. I am 10 days post op and have lost 15 lbs so far. I feel great. I am very conscious about what I put in my body now. I feel I look better. I am getting compliments!

Recovery is hard but u are up walking around without pain by the 3rd/4th day.

Let's see prepare your house for when u come home. And even though in about a week u should be moving around good u still need to rest.

Hello I am about 6 days post op..and wondering if anyone else has experienced any headaches after? Or what they could be from. I am def making sure I am drinking alot of fliuds..

I am 5 days post op sleeve and have had gas but NO BM AT ALL YET. Kinda getting worried. I'm pretty much only eating (drinking, lol) liquids. I am eating sugar free pudding. Is this normal?
