What stage can U have deviled eggs?

Are we talking about a normal belch. I mean when U get full for a meal u have a normal belch. Is this different?

Would somebody explain what this is?

I'm getting tired of all this straining. If it's blended well and looks like tomato soup I should think it's ok. If runny cr. of wheat is ok what about grits runny style. The grits would go thru a straw? I'm going to speak to another dietician today and I'll be seeing the Doc. Nurse tomorrow so I will run it by her. Foods that I have blended and strained. 1. baked pot with broth and baby meat blended in. 2. green beans/broth 3. oatmeal --this does not strain good

How long does it take to drink 16oz of liquid? Has this been a problem or do U just adjust since it's a new way of eating/drinking and it's something U get use too?

So, if U aren't restricted yet (no fills) it's easy drinking. If U have fills it takes longer? Ann

My surgery was to be this Wed.3-9-05.After my pretesting the anesthestgist? found irregularity on EKG & my white blood cell ct. was high. Now I have to see my PC doctor who will probably put me on antibiotics for 1-2 weeks then get blood work checked plus I will need a nuclear stress test & have that sent to cardiologist to be cleared for surgery. When all is cleared I will blood drawn 1 week prior to surgery. 3 years ago I've been trying for this surgery, 2 years ago had hyster. & a year ago had gall bladder surgery now THIS!!!! PLUS I have a deadline to meet with Ins. Co. from 6 months after being certified puts me to may 29 or the appeals process will start over again. Will keep everyone updated. My Dr. will have me on 1 week Clear liquids, second week- full liquids. At what stage is Protein shakes added. I read on a post that a nurse mentioned U could have egg beater in Protein shake for added protein. Does anyone know about this & if so what stage would it be? I like milk, egg beater, van. flavoring. to me this is a great shake. I'm new to board, just certified, will have my surgery date next week. Ann Dr. Ponce' 310 Not banded yet
