I went back to work today and they made me go home. I didn't have a work release and my doctor wouldn't give me one because I haven't had my follow up apt yet. Ugh needless to say my boss is not happy with me. -
11 days post op and only lost 7 pounds since surgery Kinda disappointed. I'm hoping once I get off full liquids I will lose more.

I'm 9 days post op. I can hardly stand for 5 minutes without getting out of breath. I can't take my vitamins, they make me sick. I'm getting all my protein in. Not my water though. I started my period today, maybe that's it? Idk.. I'm wondering if I should go to the hospital... My Bari center is closed today.

Feeling better today. Forced down tons of liquids and had my husband pick up gummy vitamins from cvs. I must have been dehydrated and partly malnourished. -

I'm 1 week post op. Haven't had anything but liquids in 3 weeks. My vitamins are making me nauseous. All my liquids are going right through me. I'm starving,l. A couple of my incisions are still sore. I'm weak. My house is a mess. I'm guessing I am dehydrated. Ugh what did I do to myself??! End of rant. -

Not sure yet. I know fruit is pretty acidic. They may not want me on that yet. All I saw was cottage cheese and refried beans so far. -

I'm exhausted without doing much physical activity. I can't even do laundry. During my period I feel more tired. That's why I didn't know if it had anything to do with it. I'll see how I'm feeling tonight. Might go get some IV fluids. -
Have a terrible cold and just took mucinex. I am one week post op. Hope that's okay.

Wow my doctor must be strict. I am a week post of. For the 1st 2 weeks I am on liquids only and it's the gross bariactric protein products. Nothing else! I also have to strain my soup. They don't want anything to get stuck while healing. I don't think I can ever eat pasta... -

I still have the gurgling sounds. Its gas in your stomach. It's gotten slightly better. Or maybe i just got used to it lol! Back pain is minimal now. Incision pain is back cause i keep sneezing. -

I had terrible back pain! That was the worst part. I could never get comfortable. The worse of it was gone by my 3rd day. Nothing helped except getting up to walk. -

Past couple of days have been good! Then today I hit the bottom again. I have been getting all my protein and vitamins in but feel so weak. Also, sorry tmi but everything has been going right through me. So annoying! -
