I am a diabetic, have high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, etc. Pretty much all of the cardiac risk factors. I am 56 years old and have been over weight all of my life. I have tried every diet and lost weight, only to gain back every pound lost and then some. I have not been able to control my weight on my own and hope and pray that the gastric sleeve surgery will be that tool that will help me lose weight and keep the weight off. :D
My daughter in law is a surgeon and is very supportative and thinks that the surgery is a good idea for me. I just hope my insurance will pay.
