    Puree week! Help

Honestly ricotta is so soft you will bet its a mush out of the pan. If very worried you can purée it but I don't think it's necessary!!
  4. I had my surgery 2/4 also but I'm still on mush! Im only getting 500 calories a day. What was your post op diet? My starting weight was 206.6 and today I'm 177.6. I know it's hard but maybe you should go back to full liquids for a week and then back to mush for a bit. Not a doctor but I hear the first 6 months are so critical and should be taken very seriously!! Good luck my friend! You can do this!
  5. Yes! 2 weeks post op got the flu. I went 4 days with no food or fluids and had to get 3 liters of fluids at the ER and ctscan to ensure I didn't burst my staples. After the fluids I felt 100% better the next day
  6. Man, for the last few weeks I've felt great and today it's been bad. I woke up and started taking my vitamins (all liquid) and I couldn't stomach them. I tried a little water and that didn't help and next thing I knew I was dry heaving over the toilet! My heart was beating out of my chest... And I was dizzy. We are on a road trip so I knew staying in was not an option. We went out shopping and my body was just dragging... I'm on zero calories! I got some water down (4 oz) and a little soup (3 oz) and zero desire to have anything else. Has anyone experienced this? I'm so weak but no pain. Thx everyone. Karee
  7. I had my surgery 2/4/13 in PV MX and I keep a VLOG on YouTube if you want the whole journey. Just search for Kareerox and you should find my channel!
  8. My pleasure! I roast mine for a long time too. Also make sure you dry them really good and oil use a little oil as these Beans hold moisture and take forever to dry out.
  9. I'm happy to post easy recipes as that's the only way to feed a family!!
  10. I'm 19 days out and still have sight pain. I just found out I'm having a reaction to the internal sutures used. The last surgery I had this same thing happened and it took 8 weeks for the pain to go away! Not sure it's the same but perhaps!
  11. May I suggest what we do in our home - roasted garbanzo beans. http://www.steamykitchen.com/10725-crispy-roasted-chickpeas-garbanzo-beans.html We roast them until they are almost corn nut crunchy. We use different seasonings and my husband and kids love them more then popcorn now. I'm in mush foods so I can't have yet. I made a large batch for a community movie night and tons of people (and kids) raved about them. Oh and good source of protein.
  12. I had the ricotta bake last night! I divided It and baked it in muffin tins! My favorite Protein by far is Unjury! It's not too sweet and doesn't taste fake. I really enjoy it with PB2!
  13. ** SLEEVERS*** sorry for the spelling error... I'm so tired! Looking for friends in Seattle-ish area that has had a VSG done. I'm heading to good 'ld Mexico in Feb and have so any questions! I'm hoping to find someone that had surgery in MX and has found a doctor in SEA that is willing to do follow up care. I'm excited, nervous and plain terrified. Anyone that can give me guidance is welcome to message me!! Thx Karee

    Hgh Versus Sleeve

I did the HCG diet for 6 weeks 3 years ago. Lost 33 lbs and a ton of my hair. I could not maintain the 500 calorie a day diet and after 1.5 years I gained it all back. I know some have great success but its just not manageable. That's a big reason I'm making a life change... It's about more then just a diet.
  15. Oh yes! A friend would be nice right about now! This is a scary journey!
