I've finally come to the conclussion the only way I have improve my health is with wls. Wife had lap band done a few years ago and has done great. only had band done cause sleeve wasnt approved by ins at that time. I've read through these forums over and over and just have a few questions regarding time to take off from physical job. I am a self employed landcaper. Most everything I do is by myself. I've been worried about the time it takes to heal. I thought maybe a week and a half is all I would be able to take. I've read some guys heal and are back to work within a week. I just dont know if that is to an office job or a physical job. I just recently discussed with my primary care doc. But have not got approval to see Baratrics yet. I'm pretty sure either way I'm getting it done. Is there anyone out there that can shed some light on this subject?> Thanks!

I may be able to find someone to help me. Guess my health is worth more than the money I'd have to pay out. I would have to drive though. I know I have read some its fine others its a struggle. I'm in So Cal so its lawn maintenance yr around. But its less physical than it would be in spring and summer.

Wow! That is all very discouraging! Guess this is when I wished I was not self employed! Guess I'm back to the old fashion way!
