I have some pain in my left side when getting up and down but it's very tolerable. The pain in my left side was better when I had the pain pump "on Q" ball still in. -

As far as post op diet requirements goes my post op diet doesn't have any carb limit or protein goal.- Only to try to get 60 oz of liquid. I can have strained/pureed cream of mushroom or chicken soup, broth, protein supplemnets, skim or fat free milk with no sugar added instant breakfast, sugar free drink mixes, sugar free popsicles and decaf tea, and 100% veggie and fruit juice. -

I've been doing good too. I took my pain pump "on Q" out this morning. Took gas x strips at the hospital yesterday before I left, rubbing my stomach and walking seem to be keeping the gas at bay. Belching a lot though -

Lucky me, surgery has been way better than I anticipated. No nausea, taking liquids very easily, and walking. Did have some gas in my shoulder earlier and it sucked but luckily it's gone now. -
