how long to get to feeling better
cataro replied to oklafarmgal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My energy didn't start to come back until about 2 weeks, then really came back at 3 weeks when I began to eat more solid foods. -
I think (could be completely wrong) it is when you weigh less than 200lbs, ex. 198lbs. Head hunger is when your head tells you to eat, but you don't physically feel the need. For instance, most of the time I get hungry when watching tv, even if I only ate dinner an hour before. Boredom is one of my big triggers of head hunger.

Average calorie intake
cataro replied to Huntingnurse's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm about 8 weeks out and I avg 800 calories a day. I get about 70-80 grams of protien and try to keep carbs under 50. -
I lost no weight for about 10 days right after I hit the 6 week mark. Today I jumped on the scale and was down four pounds since Saturday. Wednesday will be 8 weeks for me. Hang in there, you'll start losing again.

I live about a 100 miles from the border in Texas, and cross over frequently to shop. I always bring both. Sometimes the border agents ask for my passport, some ask for my card. It just depends on the agent. So yes, I would bring your passport.

I dont know how I would have gotten all of my protien in the beginning without my mootopia :-)

It took me about 2weeks to really get my energy back. I could get stuff done, but I was very tired, and napped often.

Water Weight Gain from Surgery: When does it go away?
cataro replied to zoekids's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
It took me about 2 weeks to really lose the water weight. -
My dr told me no pills for the first 4 months, but then cleared me for all of my pills after 6 weeks, including a huge antibiotic (I injured my foot). Go figure.

Ectasy And Cocain Lol
cataro replied to DIRTYMESKIN's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ok I'm not saying you should do it, but I'm going to assume you are an adult capable of self-determination. If you do decide to do this, do your research first, real research, not asking a bunch of sleevers that may or may not have any concrete experience or advice. One thing to consider, neither drug must be taken orally to "reap the benefits", as it were. -

Oh you bad, bad boy! Hehe, hope you enjoy your night out :-). Personally, red wine sits easier for me. -

I did not lose any significant weigh the first 10 days or so, then it started falling off. Once I was able to start eating more "normal" foods and getting more calories I really began to lose. Hang in there!!
