About Me

  1. I'm a Dec 3rd sleever & so far so good.
  2. My relief

    A Piece of Cake

I guess since it was in my presences, due to the holiday's. I can't afford to be queasy, so I better leave it alone
  3. I was sleeved on Dec 3rd, with no pain, concerns or issues, feeling absolutely great! I would like a piece of plain cake the size of a "Silver dollar size". What I ate today was a very small piece of bake white fish and green Beans (mashed & chewed to applesauce consistency). Is there anyone else sleeved 4 weeks or less and have eaten something sweet? If so, how did you feel after you ate something sweet?
  4. My relief

OMG am in my 6 week

Are eating to fast & too much? I experienced once, on the phone and not aware of the volume & pace. When I got off the phone...OMG! It hurt and would not go down. So it came back up on it's own. So you may have to chew well and slow down that should help
  5. My relief

When to go back to work?

I'm taking 4 weeks off. My surgery was Dec 3 & I'm going back to work on Jan 2.
  6. Sunnycox, thank you for responding! I looking forward to receiving the information.
  7. Does anyone know of a good personal trainer in the Houston area?
  8. Ok, so are you eating more now than usual? After dilation, do you still get full, since your stomach is smaller?
  9. I'm curious what is dilated?
  10. I went through the gas issue, it will pass don't worry. What helped me, I've been walking since day 1. Now that I'm home I walk twice a day and the gas MOVED! For me, that was the worse feeling I've experienced. Each time it started moving, I felt like a new woman...LOL The Protein Shakes may be to early to try, give yourself a couple more days & retry. I received a post from another person on here and she told me she skipped liquid & went right into full liquid, including cream of wheat. Just be patient, you had surgery just 3 days ago, things are going to be fine.
  11. Hello everyone, I've been on Protein shakes 2 days now, three shakes a day, along with other fluids, broth, sugarfree Jello or sugarfree pudding & popsicles. I take a Bariatric Multivitamin(chewable) or Gummy Multivitamin, Calcium(chewable) & B12 sublingual daily. Actually, all the chewable Vitamins are not bad the taste is ok.
  12. I had surgery on Dec 3rd as well. I see you said your very tired, have you tried B12 sublingual? I take all Vitamins & they've helped really well. Also, I've been walking since I came out surgery and been walking since then. The only reason I started walking so soon...the gas was unbearable...OMG! It didn't start moving until 3 days after surgery...miserable! Now, I feel really good, gas gone, energy level is rising. So try the vitamins & maybe slow walking. You have to be patient, your still recovering as well.
  13. I'm not familiar with the balloon. Actually my doctor never did discuss a balloon. What is it?
  14. This is my first time on here & posting. I recall a post of someone else having surgery on Dec 3rd, but couldn't find it. Monday is my big day! I'm not nervous at all, just ready to embark on a new life. The most exciting part is becoming a new me. Good luck to all the sleevers. I must return to share my post surgery experience.
