so so Dizzy, and Weak, I could NOT function, or think , weak as water did not want to get outta bed.

I am 9 months out and got IV fluids last week...Please don't mess around....I have been so sick...

if you are dizzy when you stand it is too, late and YOU can NOT drink enough to catch up...Go get IV Fluids....I have been dehydrated more than 4 times after surgery...IT SUCKS..

I usually eat off the Kids or Senior Menu.....and still have to have a to go bag! Or for Breakfast, just order 1 egg and toast. eat 1/4 of one slice and the egg......

yes been there done that....it gets better. I have 9 month post op, and still have those days. But jus think we are making Major Life changing events. My mind has been on a rollercoaster. You are not alone. Some days I still wake up and think....****, I had my stomach removed.....WTF? But I go to put on my clothes and they fit or are getting to big, then I jus smile......Wishing you the Best of LUCK!

I have actually been asking my self that too, I even asked the doctor today, and It is something he is looking into. Yes I am afraid to eat, but also, My first upper GI showed gastritius, (spelling)...and irritation and swelling. So there is at least some physical issue too. and Thanks for your "Frankness" Each time I hear it is does seem a little more real...Head issues too.... -

Most of the time uncomfortable. I HAVE NEVER been Hungry, always Bloated. I get sick to my stomach easy, today I was drinking a Shake at Wal~Mart, after about 3 drinks, had to run to bathroom, and Had the dry heaves. Sorry if to much info, I had to get IV fluids today cause I was dehydrated AGAIN, got IV fluids just 2 weeks ago too..... -
Only weigh ONCE a month, so you don't let your self get stressed....the sleeve works but you are NOT gonna lose weight every day...I was at goal about 8 months... Good LUCK., and throw away the scale. I only weigh at the doctors office.

You will be able to have drinks again, but I don't think you should this close to surgery. Doctor made me go 8 Weeks with no drinks (pre op). Talk to your doctor, but I think I know what his answer would be. Best of Luck. -

I have found if I eat junk food, I get sick to my stomach. High fat foods give me stomach cramps. I also had my gallbladder out so that may be part of the reason too. But I am ALSO afraid of eating this kind of food, cause I don't want to Gain All My weight back. I want to follow the rules, but as I do I keep losing. -

Thanks for this topic, I am having the Same Issue, I CAN NOT eat. I am NEVER hungry, and force a few bites and feel sick....I am happy where my weight is now, but I am Afraid of where I will be in another few months....?? I am starting to wander if it is a Physical or Mental thing?? -

I use the theory that if my Great Grandmother would not recognize it as food, I try and stay away from it....not that I always follow the rule but I use it as a rule of thumb...
