charbrue, i saw that you went to magee. what doctor are you seeing. i went to magee also. i saw dr. mccloskey. she is good. i had my surgery on jan 11. every one at magee was very nice. i had a good hospital experience. not too much pain. i only had pain meds in recovery and that was it. if you want to know anything else about magee let me know

that was soo nice i think it was needed.

hello all, i was banded the 11th and i am feeling pretty good today. i had a doctors appointment today and she said all is well. i have hardly any brusing i am suprised. i return to work on friday. i took the two weeks. i am on full liquids right now the cream soup is a good thing. i can start mushies on saturday. scrambled eggs here i come.... i was bad my husband made himself bacon and i took a small piece and just kept it in my mouth but i did spit it out. but the flavor was good. i'll try and behave. you all have a great day.

hello, my dr said 64 oz also broth counts, jello anything that turns to liquid in stomach counts

that is a good question. i have a doctors appt on tues and i am going to ask. yesterday i went to the gym and rode the bike for 15 min. i didn't feel to bad.i'll let ya know what the doc says

yes i do burp alot more. and the stomache growling is so loud.

nich chik, last nigh i went and got some wonton soup. it was excellent thanks for the suggestion. it has more flavor than chicken broth. and they only charged me a dollar for a quart .

how about some jello or a popcicle with that chicken broth. i am also on clear liquids this week. hang in there it will get better.

yes i agree, stick with it. it makes it easier after. i am on liquids for two weeks after surgery, so i was already for it. i lost 26 pounds per op. and it will never come back. hang in there..

hello all, i was just banded on the 11th of january. so far so good. i am 50years old. i have 2 children 28 and 26 no grandbabies yet. just a cat. all of your posts are very helpful. thanks to all for sharing

hello, well i did it. had my surgery friday.it wasn't too bad at all. here's how it went. got to he hospital at 9:30 surgery was at 11:30. when i saw the doctor i voiced my concern for the nausia. she said not to worry. i do not remember any thing until i woke up. thruout the whole hospital stay i did receive anti nausia meds. and they wrote a script for pepsid. i thought i would be in more pain but it judt feels like i did 100 stomach crunches. just sore. well i am going to get some sleep, i can't sleep in hospitals so i am tired. thanks for all the support and good luck to all

yea , it would depend on your frame. i am sure the doctore could tell you which looks more natural for you. check in and let us know what happens and how you are.
