Gotta run for now I have to pickup some new scuba gear. I am supposed to go shark tooth hunting this weekend after I go Rock climbing.

D, I am using an Acer that I purchased from Wal-Mart. It cost less than 600.00. You can spend as much as you want on a laptop. The most important thing I look for is the type of processor it has. If, you go the bargain route like I did, it is better, in my opinion to go with an AMD processor because a "similarly Priced" Laptop with an Intel processor will "Most Likely" have a Celeron or Celeron type of processor, which I do not care for. The higher end units with a full blown Intel processor are very capable. Acer= great value good performance. IBM= great performance good value. Toshiba= good value good performance and it can usually withstand a pretty good ass whuppin. All in all it is a hard question to answer without knowing the person/circumstances/needs and ability of the end-user. I hope that was helpful, if not we could discuss it on the phone and I could probably get a pretty good (FEEL) sorry couldn't resist, for what would be the best one to purchase. And to answer your question, I was in the middle of being propositioned about a possible month long stay on one of the Hawiian islands with a sweet little butter churning babe!

D! I just read my own response! You have to quit asking me questions like that or someone is going to get the impression that I am somewhat normal, or worse yet NICE! So knock it off! LOL Jmean ass self centered shallowC

D, My first wife weiged 96-98 pounds but her attitude became intolerable. My last wife was in the 200 pound range. I have dated all sizes. I am attracted to many different things, of course a nice figure is pleasing to the eyes but it is not my focus. I look at the total person. What they are about as much as what they look like. I have noticed that,,, (MOST) ,,,notice I did not use a blanket statement, most, of the Barbie Doll types are a Royal Pain in the Ass. I have had to deal with an above average amount of close to home deaths in my life. I know how short life can be and I see no value in putting up with someone elses bullshit regardless of anything, much less looks. BTW, I still heart churned butter! I am glad you are not mad at DH anymore!!!

D, I find WOMEN attractive, period. Have you ever churned butter? LOL I love gettin some butter churned! Sorry J. I couldn't help myself and besides I wouldn't be me if I didn't share that little tidbit with you guys. JbutterchurnC

Stef, the bike is a specialized Sirus comp. It's basically a crossover bike. Everything about it is road bike except for the handle bars which are more like a mountain bike.
-
I bought some gloves that actually shim your hand to make it rest even on the grips. I make sure I tighten my abs and flexors so that I am not leaning all my weight on them. I also move them around on the grips when they start to feel stressed.

BG. I discovered the powerful drug called Mackinaw Island fudge when I went to Wisconsin a few years ago and I launched an all out brutal assault on my Pancreas. I am an addict, thank God there isn't a dealer close by or I would be in trouble. The funny thing is, that I have always been more of a volume eater than a "sweets" eater until I busted off of Atkins. Now there is special place in my heart and brain for sweets. I think it is from staying on the induction phase of the diet for nearly a year. I wish I would have been strong enough to follow his plan the right way, oh well. MY NEW BIKE EFFING FRIGGIN GD ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 12Miles with an average speed of 14 miles an hour! I know I know I am a lowly flatlander and it was probably downhill bothways but what a difference a bike can make! Now all I need is an Ass massage. That is going to be the worst adjustment. The hands got a little numb, but I know how to deal with that. JsleepyheadC

BG, those are some cool shirts D, how is that darn school thing going? B, how are ya doing? HP, you can use one of my bikes if renting doesn't work out. J, are you going to use couch 2 5k or something else?
-
Stef, all I can say is thank God you enjoy sarcasm! I myself prefer right proper english, but I do what I must, too fit in and tolerate these people.

There are several sites but this is the one I have been using. JC
-

Welcome Stef! J, I don't like wearing a thong either! I turned and burned a 32 minute 5k this afternoon took a half hour break then did my normal 4 mile/hour walk. I should have ridden my bike.
-
HP, have you gone riding yet?

I don't have anything serious going on just yet. I do however have a (few) different situations brewing! As for the 14th date thing, what if I am not the one doing the fondling? :-) I have decided however that the Amish thing is probably not going to work out based on the shock I was in when I saw that damn sea of grey in my beard! WTF How in the hell did that happen? D, I heart rock hard calves. BG, if all goes well a return to my jogging routine after work today. J, congrats on the decision to start running! I am going to that rock climbing gym this week to check it out. I may go on Wednesday because that is when the ladies get a discounted rate! I also need to find a store around here that can get me into some proper running shoes.
-
I was doing something D, but I would not really describe it as looking! :-)
-
BG, you just don't know how close you were with the Amish comment! J, I am sure you know this but I am going to mention it, you can amp up your protien values without the fats by visiting the legume family. The other thing is the beans make a smoother paste than a meat shake. Thought I would share this website with everyone. Vertical Ventures Rock Climbing Gym JC

A thread for Single Bandsters

I still see myself as a huge, overweight, unfit person, even though I have run in to a couple fairly close friends who have really talked me up and one of them did not even recognize me. Yet I am reluctant to believe all that they are saying based on what I see in the mirror. I guess I am all screwed up! JC -
BG, that's one hell of a way to a statement. I could see the caption now. (Check my Cool Ass out! Running a 5K!). BG, the BadAss, no, BareAss Banded Biker Babe. OR BG, you put the Ass in BadAss Biker Babe! I need to get a life, I am having too much fun with this. Thank God BG is more than 12 hours away, I would be worried about a cold Bustin, (ASS) kicking, if I lived closer. OK, I think I got it out of my system. I got out of being on call today and it rained! I can't catch a break but I did lose another, I will call them, Vacation Pounds. 227 and counting. BG, all kidding aside I am going to run a 5k soon. I bought a new timer so that I know where I am in the world. I want to run in an organized 5k big time bad. Congratulations, you will probably be doing Triathalons before me. Just keep in mind I don't think they skinnydip the swimming part of the race, I could be wrong. JC
