Denise, I am not sure what is causing me to be awake. I guess it could be from being in bed all last week. Among other things, Stress/Anxiety. JC -

Hey Charsweb, be careful with that pb thing. I spent most of last week in the hospital. I had a slip with a twist in my stomach. The twist was cutting blood flow it could have killed my stomach which of course is potentially fatal. I am usually the type to try to ride things out, thank God I didn't this time. I am not trying to scare anyone or say that this will happen to you, I am just trying to help out and raise awareness. The symptoms I had were a night full of PBing and extreme burning in the upper region of my stomach. Then the telltale coffee ground looking junk coming up. I am glad you are feeling better. JC -
I know what you're saying D, I may need three women! BTW in case you didn't know J has a crush on me lol JC
-
Juli, I may need a woman, but I don't think a woman needs me right now. Unless of course I can find one that thrives on being around a basket case. Maybe it's the Full Moon. JC

Way to go HP! You are AWESOME Welcome back D, we missed you! JC

Hi everyone, a quick update, hard to think right now. The only time I closed my eyes last night was to blink. I woke up about 6 o' clock Sunday morning, drove 100 + miles to Venice, picked up my cool new Nitrox capable dive computer, drove back home and I am still awake!! Thank God I can still hit it pretty hard at work in a half comatose state. I know there is some anxiety and extreme hunger (2 weeks liquids) WITH NO @#@#$ $$%%%^ RESTRICTION, but wow 30 hours no sleep. I need to solve this. JC __________________

Thanks Leona, and hi to all the new people. I am strong, but I am going through a wierd spell right now. Maybe because it is Shark Week on Discovery and I haven't been underwater yet!! The only time I closed my eyes last night was to blink. I woke up about 6 o' clock Sunday morning, drove 100 + miles to Venice, picked up my cool new Nitrox capable dive computer, drove back home and I am still awake!! Way to go HP you are kicking it. Juli, why am I not suprised that you are out in front. JC

WAY TO GO JULI!!! Those are good numbers and that is so cool that people are commenting on your abilities. There is nothing better than positive feedback and you deserve it! I have to warn you though, you better get those numbers way up there because as soon as I have a green light I am going to hit the trails with extreme prejudice!! LOL I did schedule follow-up appointment. I will know something August 10th. That seems like a year away. JC

HP, I am feeling well thank you, in fact I feel as if nothing happened. I tried to take it easy for at least 3 or 4 minutes this morning. Then I couldn't take it any more so I went outside and mowed the yard. Not very physical since it is a riding lawmower but at least I felt like I was doing something. It got very hot and I got a little dizzy when I stood up off the mower so I decided to go inside and play on the computer. JC

DerbyGirl, I will have to drive to Mobile Bay. It does look cool I don't know how much time off or how much of the trail I will try yet, but I have some down time to try to figure it out. The surgery was to find out what was happening in my stomach. What they did was run a scope down my throat to look at my stomach. I woke up in the middle of the process. I heard one of the surgery team members say "that doesn't look right" what they did next was blow some air into my stomach and it straightened out. I think I passed the stone at least my back feels better. I have no idea if the stone made me sick enough to start wretching, just not sure. Chrispy, you're too nice! JC
