Welcome Newgirl you're just in time to start our second half of LBT Bootcamp!!! Congrats on your banding! We weigh in aroundish Sunday - Saturday & Monday is fine also I just need to keep it kinda grouped together so I don't miss anyones weight. Make sure you measure yourself & read the first page commitment if you haven't already. Good luck! Ps if you know your BodyFat% I can mark that for you also.

Amy-Great job on the low to almost non-countable carbs! As to the headache ---Wow me too w/the wicked headache. All day Tuesday & woke up with the same one Wednesday. Thank goodness its gone today. I did some stretches yesterday(the headache was only on one side by wedns.) Than I did 3 miles on the treadmill in the morning & 3.15 miles that evening!!!! Thats the most ever for me. Sure as the sunrises- I gained a pound this morning when I got on the scale! It just is such a crushing blow. I vow not to weigh myself till Sunday morning now & will continue to be good & drink drink drink- water that is.

Well....you may have just given yourself your answer. If you don't think your getting enough food in now, you made need a slight unfil. Very slight unfills or fills can sometimes be the "sweetspot" we all need. I will tell you with my band I needed to "recheck" myself about the rules when I was pbing more than a few times a week. Was I really chewing EVERYTHING to mush? Was I eating really truely slowly? Was I measuring or eyeballing the proper amount & taking that full 25 to 30 mins to eat? Was I not drinking right before & after? Am I doing SOLID Proteins first than vegs than fruit than carbs if at all? Am I working with my band or against my band?????? These are important rules has I am sure you already know not just for weight loss but for our safety of the band. As long has your able to eat something right now & are not in danger of anything. I would double check everything your doing & give yourself another 10 days & see what happens. Since your not able to exercise like you used too than try something very small if possible. Mabye just small arm lifts while sitted or lifting your leg while sitted. I don't know what your personal limitations are but I would venture to guess you can do some form of activity. Remember anything at all that gets your body moving will be better than nothing at all. I sure hope that this was helpful & I am very sorry you had to have surgery this past month. Feel better & heal well. :0)

Too much Morning Restriction Anyone

The gal that lost 142 pds couldn't eat breakfast either. I on the other hand have no problem :0( But what she would do is have juiced veggies or juiced fruit. If you don't have a juicer & want to stay were you are with your fill, maybe try V8 or Protein Shakes. Or maybe even buy a juicer. Good luck -
This is what its all about folks. Plain & Simple, I am talking about the quote above. Amy - You can do this, just like you said. Your on the right track & you just need to say than when you waiver your only "hurting" yourself. Eventually it will all fall into place. Tommy O - Way to Go! Come- on now- say to yourself right now that you swear no matter what that you will reserve only one night a week for popcorn. Or better yet that you will not have it at all. YOU CAN DO THAT - I KNOW YOU CAN! BigEthel - I am right there for you girl. I too had a platuea of 5 1/2 mnths & I am proud to say that this exercise broke it, albeit only 4 pounds. But it Broke it & yours will be broken too! As to the exercise you must ask yourself this & be really really honest with the response:"Are you exercising as hard as you can. Are you ready! Listen up girl, right now this very moment you are back on track & i know you are. So make sure you re-read anything that will be helpful. Are you marking a calander everyday. I swear this has helped me to see it staring me in the face. Most of all please remember, 'cause I myself forgot & you're the one that said it. Our bodies may gain from muscel & change on their own time but if we keep going everything will fall into place as long as we don't stop! As for me... well I didn't workout this Sunday But did on Monday. Than I missed Tuesday :Banane03: - So today I worked out already & will be working out again this evening while watching LOST. I need to really work on the water situation. My food intake has been good. Although I am only down 4 pounds at the doctors office they said my body fat is really starting to look better. I am happy with that. I also must tell you all - that last night when I went to bed & hadn't exercised, I not only had a horrible headache-which I never get- But felt really sad with myself & couldn't wait to do better today. That never would have happened before Bootcamp & all of you! Thank you for helping me stay focused & motivated!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: Whooooahhhhhh!

Hardest behavior for you to change?

I still havent master not drinking after a meal. Actually I would say I start drinking about 15 mins after. Not alot but I always feel the need for liquid after eating. The other habit that I have finally after 7 mnths learned to do is eat slowly & put my fork down between meals. -

I used to do it about 2 to 3 times a week. Than I got a slight unfill. Later I got more of a fill past the point of the first that made me pb so often. Now I am at my largest fill 1.6cc. I pb about 1 a week or 1 every two weeks. Its always b/c I am eating something I shouldn't or the way I ate it was wrong. SO the good news is I am not to tight just still a little forgetful to some of the bandster rules.

I have only told three people this. Mainly b/c I have very few people that I told of my WLS. But several nights prior to the surgery date I sat in bed praying to Jesus about what I was about to do & if I should back out. I was truely in a quandry up until this exact moment. What happen next was the second time in my life I felt that I had been witnessed to the Lord, but unlike the first I actually physically felt - heard & saw it! I was sitting on the edge of my bed with my arms out reached & praying w/tears in my eyes:"Lord please please let me know that this is your will & that I will be O.K., I am scared Jesus that I am making a horrible mistake." As my hands were out reached and my eyes filled with tears the Lord placed his hands on mine and pushed them together & held them tight. I felt them being PUSHED TOEGTHER. I raised my head & saw a vision of the Lord in front of me as clear as you are reading theses words. He than spoke to me. Quiet as a mouse & as loving as could be he said & I quote: " All will be fine, now go put your mouth guard in & go to sleep." Well, I just closed my eyes & bauled tears of relief & joy & awe for about 5 mins. I had an overwelming sence of peace & contentment. I got up, went to the bathroom, placed my mouth guard in & went back to bed & Thank him repeatedly before going off to sleep. Many of you will or will not believe me. Many of you have met me & know I am not an outwardly religious person. But those who do know me know that I do not lie. I was so completely blessed that night & am privilaged to share it with all of you. God Bless Christina

WHOOOOAAAAAAAAH! What a GREAT week for you!!! JOB well done I on the other hand worked out a total of 6xs this week!!! I am very dissapointed to report I have lost zero - yes I said zero pounds The only good news I have to report is that my body % of fat is at a 46% now which is down from 47.5% so I guess I am really gaining alot more muscle. Please someone who knows for sure tell me that eventually my pounds will start to fall off, I am so afraid that I will stay the same size & it will all just get hard & muscley, not like thats a word but you know what I mean.
