  1. Wow! Fiddle man! You look AMAZING!!!! Such a transformation!
  2. So I've been a bit bad about my eating for a few days, but I haven't gone to the bathroom for like 4-5 days. I need to go lol As I type this, I am swallowing milk of magnesia, but what are good, fast ways of inducing a dump? MOM tastes like crap and I need something quicker that will open the flood gate so to speak. Thanks!

    300 to 500 calories?

avocados, hummus, sausage, cream soups are all higher in calories. Try the reduced fat versions or smaller portions.
  4. I am guilty of being one of those people! lol That being said, I'm hoping to hit 100lbs down by my 6 month check up. did I lose a great amount? yes! am I happy? yes! does it make me kinda come down on myself when I ready that someone else has lost 130 in 6 months? absolutely. I, now, don't care. I've stalled at least 5 times. I'll admit, pre-op, I was hoping to be down 125 in 6 months. post op, I am thankful for the energy, the ability to jump, and I can see my va jay jay after all of these years! I think its just a learning experience. We all start out as newbies and earn our stripes as the months go by.
  5. I followed what my surgeon said to a certain degree. The fact remains, the sleeve is a lifestyle change. I adapted it to fit my needs, and I am seeing results to this day. I think to each their own. Obviously I don't advocate eating a burger 2 weeks out and then freaking out about the ability to do so. But certain touchy things, like alcohol, are something that you will have to make your own call on. I think of them as post op guidelines, not rules. Plus, being 100% strict will only hit you that much harder when you slip once vs allowing smaller portions of things. I've had different types of foods than what I am suppose to, though I am almost 6 months out. But, how would I know what I can tolerate and what I cannot without trying them? I think the basics, protein first, water, exercise, track, vitamins are a must. after that, its your call.

    300 to 500 calories?

Ready made shakes tend to have more calories vs protein in them. Trader Joes has the Pure Protein drink which has 35 grams of protein at 160 calories. Those are the only ready made ones I'll touch. Body Fortress powder is 52 grams of protein at 225 calories. that's my powder!!! There are really good low calorie, high protein options out there, you just have to look

Fastest way to take a dump

I will actually try it! My high protein, low everything else diet cause me to get... Stopped up very often. I kid you not, I think in... 6-8 hours, I will lose 5-10 pounds.

    What are your "go-to" foods?

My go to is grilled chicken breast. Low cal, high protein. I also have a huge thing for Velveeta singles. 40 cals a slice and I love American cheese lol.

I'm glad to hear you're okay! I was really nervous my first few weeks too, but once you breeze past 8 weeks, you're pretty clear for leaks

    Im ticked- husband losing faster

My roommate/ex is like that. ThAt tall mother freaked eat McDonald's, chips, ice cream, pudding, sweets, sodas. I swear, if I ever saw him touch a salad, I'd die. He's always been skinny and smaller than me. He is saying he wants to loose weight too now... What weight? Lol Pre-op, he would feed me while I was trying to lose for a date. Tempt me with pizza, Cookies. But post op, he's one of my biggest supports. He compliments my naked saggy body, and tells me I look sexy. He makes me proud of having done this and though he's butt hurt about the fact that I go to the gym too now, he ultimately cares.

For these things, the ER or doctors office are best. Better a false alarm than something serious.

    Denied!

Did they say why? Or did you cover all of your bases?
  21. You look a helluva a lot better than I do and we weigh the same lol. Great job!

    Vitamins, Supplements, etc.

Moringa tastes like butt though lol, I bought the powder after another sleeved recommended it.

    Bread

I've had toast and soft bread. It's a slider, so I wouldn't recommend starting down the carb trail, but it won't kill you if you have a bite. It does expand, a small bite would be enough.
