    How many calories?

Okay, that comforts me a bit. What's your weight loss been like? Just wondering thanks for the help

    How many calories?

Even so early on? Wow. My concern is that my intake isn't high enough

As long as you follow what the nurse told you: if it sits well, you're okay, you should be fine. Just take it slow as far as introducing new foods. My NUT doesn't okay chicken until 6-8 weeks out. But every surgeon has a different plan.
  6. Lol, I had one of those moments today too. I had some mashed up Beans and baked salmon for lunch. My room mate served me a huge helping and a few bites in and I was done. I  my sleeve!!!!
  7. Oh wow. Thank god your doctor will get you something tomorrow. I think it works in 7 days? But don't quote me. How's everything else? How's your eating and liquids going?
  8. What kind of work do you do? And what do you mean by bad? Pain?
  9. Call your ob/gyn as well, whoever will take you first. I would recommend cranberry juice but its kinda higher in calories. They'll give you something and you'll be back in a flash

I have a leak, not the flu!

I hope everything goes well for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers

    Pathetic

I just don't understand why some people are so stuck on the actions of others. If I decide to eat a small fries from McDonald's right now and then post, nothing you say will remove those fries from my stomach. Telling me I'm a screw up, that I might die, that I have hidden motives, that I wasn't ready for surgery, etc won't change the fact that the fries are sitting in my sleeve. It won't change the fact that I have a sleeve and that I made a poor choice. Encouraging me to make better choices in the future would help. And if something happened to me, the "blood" would be on my own hands as my hands fed me the fries. Not anyone else's.
  12. I was on full liquid post op. broth, SF Popsicles and Jello, Protein, Water, and surprisingly watery cheese (cottage cheese) I haven't had milk since pre op.

Just an FYI, you violated the terms and conditions that we all agreed to with this post, and with a few of your last ones. If everyone wanted to they could all report you and you'd be banned. It's one thing to argue a point. Another to personally attack people

I am sure making things up... And how is chewing up food a calculated move? You can't physically swallow a spoonful without chewing it even a little... I am done with this thread. Check your facts before posting Fishy.

I choose the right surgery. Right?

My surgeon was the other way around: I was ready for the RNY and he sold me the sleeve. He told me that unless you have certain comorbities that the RNY would take care of (such as diabetes, the sleeve should be fine. Plus RNY signs you up for a lifetime of must take vitamins. Sleeve is like 1 day use contact lenses: you can leave them in for a few days and still be okay but in the long run you would want them out. You can miss a few days of vitamins here and there but in the long run you would need all the vitamins

    Kaiser Northern Ca?

I'm pretty sure you can. A lot of people bring someone with them. They'll tell you if you can't bring them or just to be on the safe side call and ask

By Liquified I meant super masticated until practically liquid. I can't say that the OP isn't being honest about one bite as I don't personally know her. I try to believe people as why lie on a forum? No one knows you.

    Kaiser Northern Ca?

How did you notice that you had a leak?

    1 month postop today

What was your starting weight and height? Heavier people will almost always lose faster. As you get the numbers down, weight loss slows

I'm not even going to argue because you make no sense. We're on vertical sleeve talk. OBVIOUSLY the confession thread will be about the sleeve. I hope you never make a mistake and post. Karma sucks. "Treat others the way you want to be treated"
  23. Was it toasted? At three weeks my NUT approves of extra toasted toast. You're okay. I wouldn't recommend starches, but it won't kill you.
