Hard boiled!!! Lol, they're easy to grab and go!

And I understand about not wanting to throw food away. Growing up I was always taught to clean my plate and not throw away good food. I try to always portion out exactly how much I will eat because otherwise I will try to over eat so that I don't throw anything away. I'm glad to know I'm not alone with that. It's a tough one to deal with

I like to trim. I find that waxing and shaving cause too many ingrown hairs. Perhaps when I lose some inner thigh fat, I'll be able to shave or wax without trouble

I am not saying that its been a smooth ride by any stretch. I have had to flush food down the toilet to get it away from me. I'm just saying it gets easier with practice and with time

I agree as well. In the break room, there are literally 50 boxes of cookies, candy, chocolate. I sat in front of them for about... Three hours and felt nothing. It was wonderful. : ) and as I ate my egg, all I kept thinking was, pre-op I would have tried at least half of this stuff. It's a really good feeling. I'm 4 weeks out

I agree with contacting your surgeon. It's better to play it safe than not. A lot of it in the beginning is head hunger. You may want to talk to your psychologist about this as well. I don't want this to sound rude, but I believe most surgeons screen patients for this type of thing before surgery as like many people have stated, over eating can equal death. Apart from that, dwelling on it will not change what happened. After contacting your surgeon, move on. And do try to not let it happen again. Apart from death and complications, it messes with the scale as well. -
I'm kaiser as we. They provided us with a binder of information throughout the process

Is it almost time for your period? Maybe that could have something to do with it? Try drinking more Water. It'll keep your stomach full for a bit. Protein drinks may help too I'm 4 weeks out and I'm getting to the point where a Protein Drink that use to keep me full for 5 hours lasts for 3. -

5 Confessions (Join In)
SeriouslyChange replied to ebthompson2010's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I confess that I ate with my family for Christmas dinner. I confess that after eating, I kinda doubt my surgeon really did the surgery because of the amount of food I could eat. Given it was soft but... I still have my doubts I confess I'm pissed that my period is LATE! I confess that my clothes are bigger on me but I'm sad that no one comments about it I confess that my best friend from work, a fellow big girl, is now ignoring me after telling me that I'm gonna end up a skinny b*tch. I had no idea how this would change things. I knew it would happen but I thought she and I were closer than that. -
It's vegan! It's crazy good! I eat it with lime and salt but you can put it in broth and soak it too.

As long as you keep your scab moist with neosporin you'll be okay. It's how I avoided scars on my face. -
I read a thread that said if you don't get enough of _________ , you will begin to get muscle cramps. My back is cramping. My feet, my legs. It sucks. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I try to be on top of my vitamins but I'll be honest and say that I don't always get them all in. Potassium huh? Maybe I'll try some banana baby food. : ( my back is KILLING me. I work on my feet 8 hours a day and cramps just don't fit in to my schedule -
Do anybody have really bad acid reflux since u were sleeved? If so, what r u doing to ease the acid?
SeriouslyChange replied to taxicone31's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I did for the first... 3 weeks. I've never had reflux in my life so it SUCKED! But I'm normal now, no excessive reflux -
Honestly, I wouldn't. My stepmom is making tamales too. I'm 4 weeks out, and I'll be eating tuna for Christmas. The starch and oil levels are high on tamales. 2 oz won't kill you, but can you stop at just a small portion? I don't have that level of control yet, so that's why I say I wouldn't.

Hi guys, My period is coming!!!! Lol, I track it and it should be here in... 2 days on Sunday. How do you deal with it? I mean, I cramp really bad, and feel all crampy now, but I guess I'm wondering, will my first period post op be painful? Or does it make a difference? I had my last period the day of surgery. And that was interesting...
