    Yeast infection or UTI?

I've always felt like I have to pee right after peeing. Crap, could I have had a UTI for a few months?

    Marijuanna

    Yes, you'll be fine.

    First night with the cpap!

I cried when they told me I had sleep apnea. Freaked out the tech lol. But eventually I got to this point. And you will too. Do you still have your band?

    First night with the cpap!

I was pushed out 2 months because of the sleep apnea. The waiting always sucks. I thought I'd wait forever

    First night with the cpap!

I'm 3 months out. Do you have to wait to be sleeved because of sleep apnea?

That's the one that I have as well I believe. If needed, you can YouTube how to access the "secret" settings menu. You can tweak everything till it feels right

    Energy ..

I agree with labs. My energy levels fluctuate a lot as well and I'm at 3 months. I've noticed that sugar messes with my energy. I can have a lousy day if I have just a smidge too much juice. Just a thought

Pain with surgery, what can I expect?

VSG was my first surgery as well. Pain was at a 9/10 when I first woke up. For down to a 7/10 the first morning after. Fluctuated between 7-8/10 until I left the hospital. By 4th day post op I was at home and at a 6.5/10. Went down one every day but there were a few set backs with coughing and sneezing as it put pressure on my stomach and in turn my stitches and it burned. You'll do great!

    First night with the cpap!

What brand is yours? With mine, I thought I was going to suffocate. I adjusted the settings and set the air pressure a bit higher and it was great
  11. Congratulations you sound like a very fashionable person as well!

    Inner Thighs - Ick!

I have these bumps too. I get them under my arms and between my thighs. But I always pop them and then they go down and go away.

Pocket Scales for Eating on the Go

I pre portion or go by how my stomach feels. I have a pocket scale, but at the same time, maybe I'm shy about being sleeved, but I would never bust it out in public and weigh my food. It's a little too much for me

    Does anyone still feels hungry?

My body knows when it's time to eat and will remind me if I forget. It's not like my hunger from before, it's different

Day 2, feel fine but worried about restriction

You're doing great! I too had no problems keeping anything down. And like many have said, restriction comes with solids. Hang in there!

    NSAIDs

Yup, No NSAIDs with the sleeve as well
  19. I sometimes still wonder what the hell did I do to myself. It's crazy if you really think about it. 85% of your stomach is gone for good. I still wish I could have seen it. I may still be in disbelief sometimes, but my scale is thankful. I feel more confident overall. I am shy and introverted mostly due to my weight. And now that over 50 pounds has come off, my clothes fit better(all are too big but shhhhh....), and I can say that I know I look AMAZING every time I walk out of my house. It is helping me to really come out of my shell and be happy for myself. I find it easy to walk and exercise which in turn helps me so it is a win win overall. I have mourned food though. There are many times where I can barely nibble on things and be done. I sometimes wish that I could just slam down a large pepperoni pizza again, but I just grab my 2oz portion of grilled chicken and realize that I shouldn't think that way. You'll have a new relationship with food. Where I use to love salty fried foods, I find myself enjoying grilled chicken and meat a lot more now. I will confess that I have had fries from McDonalds. 3 to be exact. I found myself craving it, had my 3 fries, and that was it. I didn't feel like I use to, out of control. 3 fries were more than enough for me. And surprisingly, it's not something I'd go out of my way for. I prefer my simple home cooked meals better and believe me, being sleeved has taught me how to cook. This has been my first decision I have made 100% for myself. no one else mattered but me. I find myself very thankful for being sleeved and looking forward to the future

2nd day post-op PLS GOD HELP ME!

Oh how I remember 2 days post op... Memories... It is normal and it gets better. Walking really does help. Even if you're only walking a few blocks, do it. It helps the gas pass. And smile.
  21. I didn't have a pre op diet, but mentally found myself eating less and being careful. Take this time to really evaluate whether or not you're ready. It gets easier post op because you literally can't eat but when faced with a milkshake post op, where your head is will help you make the right decision. Don't beat yourself up as you can't change the past. Just work on making the present and the future better

    Dumping

This is the first time that I have experienced this feeling and I'm assuming its a reaction. I ate 4 oz of frozen yogurt for lunch. 155 calories, no big deal. Right? Wrong. I feel SO SICK. I am nauseous, I have a headache, and I feel shaky. I'm barely keeping the frozen yogurt down, but I'm debating just letting myself throw it up for relief. I have experienced sliming, but this is 100x worse! Any thoughts?

    Pre op colon cleanse?

I did an enema a few days before surgery. I haven't done one since post op, and I guess it's frown upon as my nurse kinda looked down her nose at me when I asked. I have a post op class in 2 weeks and will ask then.

    New to forum

I use to eat a lot of rice and bread. I can only have maybe a tablespoon of rice if I am lucky. It just doesn't sit well. It's heavy and makes me feel nasty. The only benefit is: I don't crave it either
