My nut does not have life diet. We progress at month 3. Then 6 then 12. I get 60-80 grams Protein 45-60 carbs 25 grams fat That is about 400-550 calories per day for now. Long term will have 900-1100 calories per day -

Some one really said insanity! Crap that infomercial scares me! I used 5k runner. Builds up over 8 weeks. I used to jog and lift years ago during one of my thinner phases . Some of the biggest loser work outs are fun without killing you. Just started Pilates this week after clearance from doc 4 weeks out. I liked it and my rear really hurts today. -

Sheetmetal.... Do not worry. You have to find a way to put yourself first. It took me to 43 . Don't wait that long. My hubby was not happy about my decision and thought I could do it (again) on my own. Key word.... Again. I am 4 weeks post op and he is enjoying the change. One we save money. Two we eat better. Three we eat less. Four. We eat out less. When we eat out, he gets the smaller portions and eats slow with me. He has lost a few pounds ( he only has 10 to loose!!). I love my husband but can say... I worried about life after. It is early, but it will turn out just the way it is supposed to. Good luck! I hope you decide based on your needs -
Awesome fiddle! Not a bad addiction to have knowing our previous one!

Be patient! Day 2-3 are the worst, mentally. I was lucky and did not have significant pain outside the gas! Get gasx strips before u go! Take them to hospital. Trust me. You will go great. Good luck ...

If you are considering this surgery, have you gone to any surgical consults? They provide a lot of info. This surgery is work. While some do not exercise others do, however, exercise is only one small piece . There is a structure to it that will take you through the rest of your life. But yes you will loose weight

I had slight rash and itching also. Doc said when body is healing it produces histamines. Took Benadryl for two days and it went away.

how much can u eat?
Tawnie replied to saritawillslim's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you really want a snack try nutmeg state nutrition site. They have high Protein low carb Snacks ! Also have Protein drinks like grape pineapple orange , orange ... Taste like koolaide! They have helped me -
Isopure is fruit flavored drinks. Also shakes but u are struggling there
-
Protein makes me gassy as well. I think it is fairly normal. It does not keep me from eating it. Drinking protein is so much easier for me. Have you tried isopure drinks? One bottle is 40 grams of protein and 48 oz of fluids. So I can kill two birds with one stone. You have to find protein my friend. It is your new world. Not easy. But you will be able to do it. If you continue I would check with NUT. Some forms if vegetarian protein as not as hard. Maybe you can have that.

Congrats !

husband is getting on my DAM nerves!
Tawnie replied to Cookiemonster73's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oh Cookie Monster (we have almost identical stats). My hubby would likely have gotten them thrown at him. My hubby ate pizza the second day after my surgery. I was so irritated, even tho I had no desire for it. Just the thought. Grocery is odd place now. Skip most aisles -
Hi Shawn. Not crazy YET! Dear lord that first few days were hell . I was so tired of living off a timer.....then I remembered why I was doing it. So yep, all normal. Are you allowed crystal light? Isopure helped a bit with different flavors. I drank so much broth, yet I know add it to many things! Good luck. All is normal.
