I would love to meet with some of you ladies. I am east bay (Brentwood). I'm trying to go to support group in Antioch through Kaiser, but the new year calendar is not approved yet. I just think any support I can get at this point will be helpful. Again I am going through Fremont Kaiser. I have a friend in Brentwood that is also pre-op and going through Kaiser Richmond. I'm sure she would love to come too. I go tomorrow for my physciatric appointment. I get so nervous with every appointment. I'm afraid they are going to say "you can't have the surgery now". I feel like now that I have made my decision to go for it, I'm going to be let down. Wish me luck! Hope you all had a nice holiday. Hi All, I am a newbie on here. I searched for Bay area forums and it brought me to you all. I see a lot of Kaiser people too. I am on the weight loss portion of this journey. I need to loose 20 pounds before surgery. I am down 6 so far. I am a patient at Kaiser Fremont and a patient of Dr. Christine Chu. Would love any feed back. I feel like now that I have the mind set to have surgery, I want it now. I really hope that I can do it in Feb. Just so hard this time of year to be changing your life. Thanks, Drea
