Bean, Hadn't talked to you in a while. I got a new job and moved to the raleigh area of NC. Congrats on the surgery!!! You looking good Brother, How long did you lay on the couch before you came up with the cat bite the drain line? was that before or after the second dose of morphine? Joking aside you look great and I am so proud of you. It sounds like recovery time is quite a bit longerr than the origional VSG surgery. I know you are missing your running. I have been running a couple of months and the spare tire bouncing is not very comfortable at all in the tshirt. Does the spanx/compression help with this? Again congrats and I'll keep in touch.

I was sleeved on December 11, 2102. I am a big guy a year ago before I started this journey I weighed 415 and am 6'3. I was 372 on surgery day and I am now 328. I was in bed this morning waking up and rubbing my chest and stomach just feeling around and noticed in the center of my chest I have a knot around 2 inches and protruding a little. I was like what the hell is this! Oh great I have found a tumor, then it hit me still not being quite awake and realized I have never in my life felt my xiphoid process /sternum. I read that the little bone grows bent and is more pronounced on very large obese people but is never seen unless there is a large weight reduction. Anyway, it made me laugh this morning and my wife to when I called her at work.

I was sleeved on 12-11-12 i was 372 on surgury down from 415. I weighed tonight and down to 328. I started prilosec tonight due to burning in throat and stomach for a couple of days. I have never gad indigestion or acid reflux before surgury. How do you both feel now? I still only feel about 85%. I have been slack on the vitamins and started them back religously today. All food is ok, chicken sets as little heavy. I also just stopped 9 years of high lood psi medicine in te last 10 days. I think my body is still in such flux that it is still trying to figure out normal. any suggestions????? I'm well on the protein but consistently only around 40 - 50 oz of fluid.......
