Paid $2.85 a gallon yesterday in New Jersey. I remember being in upper pennisula Michigan with my grandfaher and the Bay station was .59/gallon and he complained about the rising prices. Talk about feeling old.

Had to cancel my fill. But the good news is that I am down 2.5!!!

After my 2nd fill I had a lot of problem eating after about 6 weeks. It got to the point where I couldn't even drink a shake, I was having upper right abdominal pain, under my bottom right rib and it seems to radiate to my chest and back.. I had a complete unfill because my doctor will not remove part unless it is under the floro. (sp?) I felt relief as far as the eating was concerned but was still having the pain in my chest. My Gp sent me for an ultrasound of my abdomin and gallbladder. It all came back fine. I go for a barium swallow on Monday. I seem to only have the pain after I eat.Usually gets worse if the food is heavy. Yesterday I had some chicken salad and about an hour after I ate it felt like someone was stabbing me in the chest, once this passed(about 30 minutes) I was OK. By the grace of God I have been able to stick with the band rules. I still get hungry but try not to eat too much. I was wondering if anyone else has had this, could it be band related or am having some other kind of problem. I originally thought it was reflux but there have been no other problems with the food coming back up since I have been unfilled. No problems at night.

Had the HIDA scan, apparently the gallbladder has no stones but isn't functioning the exact way that it should. The nurse called and said it was at 30% but I don't know how bad this is. She said that the doctor said I can go ahead and get a fill but if the gallbladder starts to bother me again (not too bad lately) I should have it out. Does anyone what the functioning number should be? I am leaning to waiting to see what happens, will the problem go away? On another note, something weird has happened the last 3 days. I have no fill and up until 3 days ago, no restriction. Then all of a sudden some restriction. No pain just a bit of fullness and 1 PB, a small one but i think it's because I took my 2 enormous vitamins and then drank some protien shake. Is this strange or what?

It will change with a fill. At least it did for me. I really had to slow down or face pain.

Good luck. The first step is the hardest, or it was for me. Once I passed that I was well on my way.

I never drink with my meals and I try to make it an hour after but sometimes it's a little less. I usually stop drinking about 45 minutes before my meal, otherwise I am kind of full from whatever I drank.

I was finally able to schedule an appointment for a fill. It will make it so much easier to make the jump to onderland!! I go on Thursday, Yeah!!!

Sounds great. Where did you find it? Reminds me of the boo boo bunny my kids had when they were younger.

I was able to keep it together for the easter holiday, no gain but no loss either. I am going to get serious! I really need to enter "onederland" for my sanity.

Well, I made it through vacation and didn't gain anything!!!

I like the idea of a self prize. I am struggling wiht out a fill.. Really dieting. I really cannot wait until I am able to get one. Vacation starts today , I am taking a scale with me so I don't go out of control How sick is that???

A friend of mine from college used to tell me that water in a dream means that you are going through great changes, I guess she was right, you have had too many to count in the last few months. You must be really glad to be home and maybe you are a bit more delighted than you knew.

This is great. I am without a fill right now. This challange will help to keep me on track. I will need the extra push because we are going on vacation next weekand I really don't want to blow it 7.5 to onderland.

Alexra-I hope that everyhting is OK. Hopefully you are just irritated. I heard someone at work saying that their allergies are horrible this year. Maybe that is it. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Guess what, the Docor is now sending me for a HIDA scan. I guess he suspects the gallbladder too. I really hope not but on the other hand it would be nice to have an answer. I am a little leery of the test-hate the idea of dye being put into my body but I think it is only way to find out. Thank you all, for all of your help. On a positive note, I have been unfilled for 3 weeks and have actually lost 2 pounds. I guess I really have learned something after all.

Well, I got the results of the gallbladder ultrasound, there are no stones which I am very happy about. I am waiting to hear about the barium swallow. SHould hear something tonight or tomorrow. Thank you guys for all the info. Alexra- I will be there tonight, shouldn't there be a guest speaker? I hope so it sounded interesting.
