I have had a couple of stalls but I ignore them and stay with the plan. I do not have any regrets. Today three different people asked me if I was losing weight and then they said I was looking very good. Made my day!!!! -

All of my December sleevers...
Decembersleever replied to blkdiamond377's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I lost 9 pounds before surgery on 12/26/12. Day of surgery I was 248 and I'm at 211 now. That's 37 pounds since surgery and 46 overall. It looks like this may be on par with everyone else. I thought I was a slow loser but maybe not? I could use some help though. I average about 600 calories a day Lots of people say to up your calories to boost your metabolism but I can't figure out how to get that done. Any suggestions? -

Scheduled for March 19; freaking OUT!
Decembersleever replied to WeightStruggle's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved on 12/26/12. I have no regrets. You can drive yourself absolutely crazy reading all the negative stuff. I'm down 46 pounds in 3 months. I'm a bit of a slow loser but I'm very happy with 46 pounds. I generally lose 3 - 4 pounds each WEEK. I could never have done that on my own - and I certainly tried. There will always be people who had issues with the surgery - but I really feel that's not the overwhelming population. You should read all the commentary and make your own decision. That's what i did. Good luck to you in whatever decision you choose. I have never been happier with myself. -
Scheduled for 3/12/13

What do you eat at 3months out?
Decembersleever replied to ShyV.'s topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 2.5 months out. I eat a lot of eggs, ham, talapia, shrimp, turkey and cooked veggies ( no corn ). I am not eating pasta, rice, desserts, candy - in fact I tried a bite a week ago and I was sick to my stomach Cheese and I don't get along. I LOVE cheese and this is bumming me out. I haven't had any luck with mashed potatoes, refrained beans or salad I average 500-700 calories a day. -

Decembersleever replied to Success2013's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am also guilty of weighing everyday. It helps motivate me. When I'm losing it feels good and gives me an incentive to keep working hard. Of I'm in a stall - I back off from weighing every day so that I don't get discouraged. I love all your tips. Thanks for sharing -
