Laura, break up the Easter Egg and have a little piece every now and then and don't feel guilty! As long as you don't eat it in one hit there's no need to feel guilt and sometimes just that little piece is enough to get it out of your head. -
All my drinks in hospital were given to me with a straw. I just thought it was the normal thing, I had no problems, in fact it was easier for me.

I am nearly 6 months out. Can only eat one meal a day, about 2ozs of protein and sometimes it doesn't stay down. Nearly ready to just give up on eating completely. I drink lots of fluid but my stomach hates food. -
