Today i found out that i streched my pouch
AussieLady replied to LadiWobs's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had an appointment with my surgeon today and showed him this post. He thought it was very funny and said there is no possible way that at 7 weeks the stomach could just suddenly stretch. He said it stretches slightly over a period of 12 months. He was really happy with my weight loss though but said I need to eat more. -
Omfg ... They Are Going To Shove...

Why do men have to have a catheter? Can't you guys just get up and pee in the toilet like we women have to? -
OMG, it is a gun too. Sorry, trying not to admit I need glasses. Well, put that gun away! Someone might get hurt!

Dean lives 2000 miles away from me, but I'll see what I can do. If he's keen enough to be violated he might jump on a plane. Anyway back to Fyre. You take care and think positive.

Hey, you can't be that sick if you're playing your guitar!

Alright, enough is enough! If those doctors over there don't get this sorted soon, I am coming on over there and drag your arse back here to Australia and get this sorted. You tell them there's a big Aussie lady coming and I don't take any crap!

Has anyone tried Berocca?
AussieLady replied to LaserSkinGirl's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I have Berocca every day as it covers all the B vitamins and C. It dissolves in Water but is not fizzy. The orange flavor is the best. I have it in the morning and take my other vitamins at the same time. It definitely helped me a lot with getting rid of that tired exhausted feeling. It has been available in Australia for quite some years and it's a great hangover cure also. If you have any other questions I would be happy to answer them. -

I am 5' 9" and my goal is 160 but I think you are a lot younger than me so 150 should be achievable. -
Risks of Side Effects from VSG

My surgeon told me that with this surgery, 1/100 will die, 3/100 will get a leak. I thought they were pretty good odds. -
Needing encouragment / advice
AussieLady replied to Looking Ahead's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have had low blood pressure all my life and so do my children. Your blood pressure will drop if you are not drinking enough and the symptoms will be dizziness, headache, confusion and a general feeling of being unwell. You need to drink a lot of water. It is unlikely that you have had a stroke because usually high blood pressure goes with strokes. Hope you feel better soon. -
Hate the treadmill, I prefer to walk in the fresh air. Love my cross-trainer and exercise bike.

DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU ARE RECORDING THE TENNIS. Just for you Kelly. Djokovic 2 sets to Murray 1. Just in first game of fourth set. Murray very rattled at the moment. -
OMG. I just read this thread. Don't worry about a leak. My surgeon said its virtually unheard of after 7 weeks. I really hope your pain is easing. Have you tried doing some relaxation exercises just to try and relax yourself a little. Hope you get some help from your surgeon. By the way, your man is soooooo cute! You make a really good looking couple. Sending all my positive thought and love from us Aussies.

I hate 'Tool' more! Makes me think I have a hammer inside me. IT'S MY STOMACH, it's just smaller than it used to be.

Major Fail 3 weeks out-Advice please?
AussieLady replied to TheLCSpencer's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Can take a while but as I said goes quicker if you walk. Stretching can help too. I'm talking a couple of hours, not days or anything like that. -
If you were a smoker pre-op. Then I think half of one cigarette is pretty good. Don't beat yourself up too much but don't give up on quitting either. Probably a good idea not to have them around and tell any smokers you know not to give in to your pleading. Good luck.

Major Fail 3 weeks out-Advice please?
AussieLady replied to TheLCSpencer's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I get that if I eat too fast or too much. It usually leads to vomitting for me but I also find that walking around helps it go away. It is the worst feeling but does go away. -

Friend jealous or unsupportive, or both?
AussieLady replied to cookie2012's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Then I think she is probably feeling somewhat left behind and threatened. Maybe jealousy but also she may just feel that your friendship may be threatened because you guys are different now. If you have a meal together she may feel subconscious about the difference in the quantities that you two eat. Really, if you sat down and thought about it you two have a lof of differences now. If you value her friendship it may be worth explaining that you still feel the same about her but you needed to do this to feel better about yourself. -

Dean, can I just ask how many calories per day you aim for? I try for 600 so 200 calories is a meal for me.
