I drink diet cola but add water. This takes out most of the gas but if you judge it right you can leave a bit of a tingle. Satisfies the craving and does not give any stomach pain.

That's so nice of you Laura. But I really have to try and get my head around that. I really love the dress but if I wore it in public and someone looked at me I would feel like they were thinking, "OMG look at that fat lady in that dress"!

I dont know why but I have once eaten 2 eggs but most days even 1 is a struggle.

Feeling good but just can't sleep!! I'm sure I am going to have a lot more that needs lifting but thought I would start at the top and work my way down.

I am home again now. I live in the mountains. It's really lovely at the moment, weather in mid 80's. Went to see a plastic surgeon today, thinking about a forehead lift. Trying to get back the years I wasted being fat. Hmmmm, very expensive, maybe I will grow old gracefully, but slim!

Until you actually stop taking it you don't know whether you are having reflux. And whilst reflux can become worse for some it actually goes away for others. I want to see whether the surgery has helped my reflux. Also, if I don't need it every day, why take it every day? I'm just one of those people who believes you only take medication if you need it. I want to find out where I am at.

I had an ablation and even though you don't get your period you still ovulate. I had my tubes tied at the same time as falling pregnant after ablation can be extremely serious, even cause death.

I had this happen with a previous surgery. Just needed some antibiotics and it settled down.

Hi Seth, You have made a good decision. I was sleeved on November 14 and it was the best decision I have made. Keep thinking about all the positives and don't worry about mourning food. I have come to see food as fuel that my body needs so I can walk 10 kms a day and go shopping for slim people clothes. Stay positive and stay away from all the horror stories on this site. This surgery gives you a whole new life! And it's a great life!!!!

Ding,Ding! Gloves off now guys! This is one of those threads where you could argue all day about true, false, right, wrong etc etc. How about everyone just let's it go and waits to hear the second opinion from the doctor. Remember, the point is 'SUPPORT'.

In another couple of weeks I am going to start cutting back and only take it when I am getting reflux. Nexium is great that way, it will kick in quickly if you need it to, you don't have to have it every day for it to work.

I am on Nexium and have no side effects. It's been fantastic for me. Spoke to my surgeon about it today and he said to stay on it if it helps.

Hi Aussies, Went for my 12 week check today but it's only 11 weeks. I thought I was doing well but my surgeon said I've lost too much weight in this amount of time. 21kg.s. Also said I am not eating enough, but I'm eating as much as I can. About 600 calories/day. Is this in line with what you guys have or are doing? Any comments would be great.

Where can I meet your ex? And didn't I tell you to put that gun down before you hurt yourself!!
