    Sweetie we totally understand !!!! you are a basket case right now and that's to be expected and you sure in the hell didn't need this additional stress from DD#4.. Your inspection will go fine and you may just have to tell DD#4 that she has to follow your rules while she's living under your roof.

    Joyce - Glad your appointment went well and yea mushies - I know alot of pple have refried Beans as their 1st mushies - real food... Deb - Heck my GS just got his license back 2/2 after being suspended for 3 speeding tickets and 1 accident - I don't think the accident was his fault - hit a piece of tire in the road way and lost control of his car 2 yrs ago August and cracked a vertibate - well anyway - he's only 18 and with the speeding - they (dmv) said sorry bud but you are going to kill someone if not yourself - so you gotta lay low for 6 months - I am the one who suffered :0) - Even with good restriction I am a nite time eater too - I have always just budgeted my calories to compensate for it - I snack on popcorn (those 100 cal snack packs) and either a sf fudgesicle or sf pudding... I am an introvert - pple wouldn't guess it but I am - heck I have been go go go since the end of January - company etc - I am taking this weekend to recharge my batteries.. I enjoy the quiteness of the house right now - I can be a bit reclusive too especially if I am depressed - How your mood... Karen - glad to hear that you are just kicking back tonite - that's what I'm doing too - got dinner done - but I was starving around 5:30 - as I wasn't that hungry at lunch only ate 1/4 of my fish - so had a popcorn and then had a power nap for about 20 minutes - so even though dinner is done - I'm not hungry right now - but at least it's done for when I am ;0) - but dogs are fed and quite - Andrew should be getting home from work shortly . Well he just called said he won't be home for 1.5 hrs - going some where after work - how responsible for him to call - oh I just realized why he callled the dog (ryder) stupid me - Here I thought he was being thoughtful towards me - well he was but it wasn't about me -it was that he wanted to make sure that I would not be pissed about taking care of the dog.. I have a gf who doesn't eat too much red meat either for the same reason - just to rich for her tummy - I love it - don't eat it as much as I use to but I am a total canibal ;o0 the rarer the better imho ;0) Where's Jodi - Her surgery is tomorrow the 6th isn't it ??? but it's saturday oh my I am going to have to go back and see when it is .... Jodie hugs & prayer...

    Karen I hear you on eyes bigger than tummy and when I am out and straving I order w/my old brain - taco enchilada & relleno - but now that will be 3 meals instead of one.. I don't eat out often so when I do that's my treat - but like to nite I am bbqing a filet migon - I will eat 1/2 and save the other half for bf/lunch tomorrow. Yes and you have to give yourself credit to for the steps that you are taking to regain control over your eating ... It's a process - even thou I am 2.8 yrs out - I am still learning every single day. I too find myself throwing away food - but as I say - better in thee (trash) than in me :0)

I had a lot of bf who I wouldn't take home to mom lol - it's called fun not marriage ... But I know you don't think that's funny right now Yes she lives at home she owes you a call - to skip class and work - that's not cool either - you wanta have your fun - have it but you gotta be responsible - You really didn't need this stress today - nor never really but right now with the loss of your Dad - your emotions are even running higher than usual.. Ok which DD goes out of town to see bf - #4 or #5 must be #5 - but I thought it was the dd who lives w/you and that's #4 right?? Hugs - well you can't eat - so I guess you can look at that as being a good thimg :0)

    Hey Gang - Home in pj's and chillin !!! TGIF Food today - BF - Strawberries - 6 slices Deli Ham w/1 slice 2% cheese Lunch - Salmon Dinner - Steak & Veggie & Pasta maybe Snacks - popcorn - fudgesicle - but I am craving sugar - I almost stopped and go a candy bar but didn't wtg Janet... Gotta get up in the a.m. and hit the gym - went last tuesday (a week ago) so I most go in the morning ... Well that's about it for me - I am going to have a busy week next week as the lady I work with dh is having surgery and she will be gone all week -but at least next week is a 4 day week for me and I will be chillin w/Phyl on Friday !!!

    I am a firm believer that no news is good news and ignorance is bliss I use the 2% cheese too when I do cheese - but gotta say I don't do 1/8 of what I use to eat. I use to eat tons of cheese it's just something I have cut at home - will use some when I make an omelet but I eat them every couple of months .. It's that copy paste out of my work email and the font I was using - I increased to 14 but on here it comes out little - sorry :0) How's this lol

    Beck I am into positive affirmations - take the word hope out of your vocabulary and replace it with will !!! ;0) You will get back to living life - hell I ate and slept my life away before - the weight just weighed me down - now I live !!! I have the energy of a youngster - I feel 10 yrs younger... It's important for us to learn what a real portion looks like and it's important to know how many calories are in the foods we are eating - grocery shopping takes me a lot longer now a days - I will want Cookies - I look at the container and see that 2 little cookies are 250 calories - I say hell no that's not how I want to spend my budget of calories cuz I know I will be hunger in a few after eating them - where as if I eat real food (hard proteins) I will be full for a few hours. I can tell you losing the weight frees you - pple who meet me now think this is the way I have always been - they think I am normal - I might look normal - but gotta say - there still is a fat chick inside of me who wants to take my life back from me - but I won't let her..

    Tino That discomfort means that you have restriction - make sure you eat slowly, tiny bite and chew. Being full now is diff feeling than our old full. It takes awhile to figure it out - but if you have eaten say 1/2 c of food and feel that discomfort stop eating you are most likely full.. Being stuck hurts - like a golf ball in your chest - slime (saliva) come pouring out of your mouth as your body is trying to get the food to go down - if it doesn't go down then it will come back up in a form of a bp..

You did perfect – it wasn’t a cheat – Remember this is a lifetime lifestyle change – You did the right thing by planning and budgeting your calories – I eat healthy 95-98% of the time – You have to allow for life and foods that you do enjoy – it’s all about moderation – planning – budgeting and exercise and you have done all that …. WTG !!!!

    Linda Oh Yoplait is regular yogurt and I think the pt is only 5 0r 6 not 12 (well I have always counted what ever it say as pt grms – not the % of dv – that’s not the right # - that’s telling you that serving size was 12% of your daily pt value based on a 2000 cal a day diet I thought you got the greek yogurt Fage – I eat the Yoplait Lite and Dannon Lite and Ft – the Lite thick & creamy Yoplait is very good – I like yogurt and will have it for dessert and or b/f – you know you can take lite cream cheese – lite cool whip – splenda – and make a no bake cheese cake :0) - I use the vanilla a lot – I put my cereal in it in the a.m. and fruit … I also use the vanilla over a sf piece of angel food cake that I topped with black berries, raspberries and strawberries in place of whip cream – it’s good too.. Ask me for something sweet and minimal calories and I will tell you how to make it :0) – brownies I don’t have an answer for yet though :0) Jessica – Yes girl you need to give yourself credit – that’s a Beckism :0) giving yourself credit for all your hard work !!!! I did the duct tape on my finger – and it worked.. Heck put duct tape on it then a bandaid over it Charlene –Oh I thought you had injured something :0) and that’s why you were going to pt ;0) glad it’s just to learn to do exercises :0) WTG on lunch – what kind of soup/salad did you have – I don’t go to olive garden much – I think I have been once since banded – I think I had grilled shrimp and after watching my gf daughter scarf down the appertizer and then the 3 tons of pasta she ate – I wasn’t that hungry – just thought omg you use to eat like that.. Ok back to work – only 50 minutes till freedom

    Well the aol weather say 20% tomorrow and 50% on Sunday and I heard on the radio – that change of rain is tomorrow nite.. But you know how the weather pple are they hardly ever get it right?? My gf Debbie got laid off today – she has been expecting it for a while now – her company got bought out buy another company – hell she’s lucky though she lives w/DS and doesn’t really have any bills – so she should be ok..     Linda – I have heard so much about the greek yogurt – great pt – and I think they have sf/ff but not at my cheapy stores (winco/target/stater bros) – I think I have to go to trader joes or henry’s for it.. What flavor did you get??? I like Andrew too he’s from Moreno Valley which is about 50 miles from me - so he’s almost a hometown boy for me :0).. Ya that red head needs to go – I don’t know who’s voting (no me ;0) but they are stupid imho :0) to keep her – she must have a strong fan base..     When do you eat?

    Coffee @ 5 a.m. Bf around 9-10 a.m. Lunch Noon Pre-workout snack 4:30 Dinner - 7:30 - 8 pm Snack - 9-10 p.m This is my M-F schedule - I work so I have to eat at noon and gotta say most days I am hungry by then.. Weekends are a whole nother subject - then I eat when hungry - gotta say most weekend I don't do bf or lunch - especially if I am busy doing something maybe a late afternoon snack/lunch - but I ALWAYS eat dinner.

    Apples - A side of beef – but I thought you weren’t cooking for the whole farming gang – but I know you like to be prepared ;0) Partying all ready – omw you have more energy than me – I need my veg time after all that traveling… Eva – I agree good food (nutrition) not necessarily carbs issue – This is one reason I am always preaching eating healthy not dieting – I know you disagree with this but – cuz you think you have to diet to lose the weight – but you don’t you just have to make healthy food choices and with the band and proper restriction you will lose the weight – Our “normal” eating is what got us fat in the first place – Yes some pple ate pretty healthy prior to banding – but just ate too much food – Even those pple if they really logged all that they ate I think they would find that they ate a little unhealthier than that thought – (Oh I ate tons of veggies – but they were loaded w/butter – Oh I ate bread but it was whole grain)– heck it’s better to eat a peach than a slice of bread – peaches have carbs but I think it’s a healthier choice of food than a slice of bread loaded w/butter.. It’s a reason I think veggies are pretty much free foods as long as they aren’t loaded with butter – I love my I can’t believe it’s not butter spray.. Charlene – My Xdh was like your DD fiancé – 6 times – oh that’s a few times too many – but heck after divorcing my dh – I went back (yes I was mentally ill) but I thought I needed to try harder – well – it still didn’t work – and who needs all that drama and it’s not teaching your DGD good relationship issues. It’s going to be an adjustment and like you said the side affect (stress) will help w/your band – just don’t eat around it.. What are you going to pt for??? Apples I agrees it’s all about the light bulb going off in your head – having your ah ha moment – Driving is stressful cuz you have to watch out for all the crazies on the road – Glad you got a good nite sleep… I’m having strawberries & ham/cheese roll ups for bf today – fish for lunch – steak for dinner.. Jessica – Hugs on your losses !!! That’s so sad… I am glad to read that you are starting to stick up for you – think of it this way – your doc is your employee you pay him ;0) – but ya it’s easy to be intimidated by docs lawyers etc – we think they are so much smarter than us – but in all reality they aren’t – they are no diff than us – we all choose diff paths in life that’s it.. That’s a good trade off – I’ll come and stay with you for a week and then you come and stay with me for a week ;o) Well, Good Morning Gang – I bet 3 pple have posted since I started this – I have this new thing – I quote and then copy and paste into my email here at work – so if someone walks in they think I am typing an email – then when I am don’t I paste back into lbt ;o) I know I am a terrible employee ;0) but I am a creative one :0)… Not much to report since last night - Watched Idol – Linda the Cuban girl shouldn’t have gone home – the red head should have – I was ok w/who went home for the guys… Anyone watch the real housewives of NYC or Orange – I didn’t do too much of the OC girls this year but the NY wives are back on they are my fav ;0) – never watch the Atlanta one. Food was good yesterday – but gotta say I have been craving sugar – it’s my withdrawals from last weekend (1 piece of pie/ice cream & 1 piece of cake/ice cream and a candy bar).. Well, I have had a couple calls – got an application done – and helped by boss with a coverage question – and did this post – so I better get the rest of the stuff done on my desk – it’s 9 a.m. Cbl – Hugs !!!

    I know 2 banders in MT ;0) they are in my Lucky #7 (July 07) thread - one in Lincoln and the other in florence - I think - but remember I am in the 50+ thread - so those cities might not be correct ;0) I really beleive for me that I was/am able to exercise has been a big help. Back in the day - I took a dance class twice a week and lost 20 lbs without changing my eating & drinking (that was back when I was in my 20's and still partying hardy ;0).. Like I said - I do eat carbs - and don't count fruit & veggies as carbs - when I talk about carbs it's really starches - Heck I rather eat 60 cal of an orange than a piece of bread - I think the orange is a healthier choice of food. Yep our individual motabolizams (sp) has alot to do with how slow/fast we lose. I was 52 when banded and I lost 100% of my excess weight in the 1st year - but again - I work very hard - I totally changed my eating from high fat/sugar to healthy and the exercise I also kept a food/exercise diary for the 1st yr too - I am a firm beleiver in it.. And even today if I gain some - I will go back to logging - Also I have given myself a 5 lb limit and if I go over that - I go back to the basics This isn't a diet - it's really about a total lifetime lifestyle change...     Phyl LMAO - didn't get in trouble !!!! I think he knew better.. Ya Costco was diff only 2 demo's bread/butter & yogurt and that was it - the cooler w/veggies was bare - Also I got a 42 snack pack popcorn one time when I was there - well they don't have it any more just the regular size and if I pop a reg size i will eat it all - You go to the Rancho Mirage one - and I was at La Quinta - so they must be doing something- the box girl I had was more interested in looking cute.. Karla - Use the plastic please -and go - forget school - hell don't you have some bereavement time - use that - since your Dad's not having services - just say that you are going to the private memorial and go get a fill - screw the kids and school - you are more important and what's a day - it's not going to make or break a kids education :0) Well I'm off to bed - had to order the tsv on qvc - spanx hightop shapewear - Sweet Dreams Peeps..

    Beck During my weight loss phase - I ate 800-1200 cal a day and varied them - I'm lucky no physical limitations - walked on the treadmill 4-5 days a week too.. I would trade your egg in for eggbeaters (has less calories) and skip the toast for bf add a little ham (oscar meyer deli thins 6 slice 60 cal - eggbeater 1/4 cup 30 cal and I think 14 grms pt - add 1/2 slice of 2% cheese for 20 cal - you have a omelet for 110 cal - that's the # of cal in just your toast w/some butter - I think an egg is 90 cal - and you gotta be careful of pb - it has 190 cal for 2 tblspns.. Where the chick strips breaded and fried or just plain chicken and what kind of dressing on your salad. I ate starches but limited them mostly to my dinner only - am attaching my typical menu to give you some ideas Sample Menu.doc
