    Great I just ck'd our 24 hr fitness doesn't offer that class - As to not being a class person - Sweetheart you are no longer that person who will stand out in the class - and even if you did - who cares... This is about you and moving.. I use to feel that way (going to classes) - heck wasn't that our #1 excuse for not going to the gym 100+ lbs ago - What pple would think of us... I gave up that mentallity 3 yrs ago - I said this is about me and I need to do this for me - I don't know these pple they can't hurt me - so I went in and did my workout - and left. You know what - no one is really paying attention to anyone else - they are there to work out (well I was/am lucky in that department neither of my gyms are meat markets) And and my age I really wouldn't care if they were - I'm not there to be seen - I am there to workout You should see what I look like as I walk out after a class - I swear I look like a wet rat - my hair is totally soaked and a mess - I walk thru the weighs and all the guys working out and I don't give it a second thought - I really just don't care what they think - it doesn't matter to me - why should it - heck all they would think - is omg that girl worked her ass off - Classes are fun and a way to mix up your exercise - So I really do suggest to give them a try - and you are so busy keeping up along with everyone else - no one has time to see if you are keeping up or not - Hell - I do better than some of the young ones - and if I can't do something they are doing I modify it - It's empowering to not limit yourself - try it - just go for it - you may like it...

    Apples - Thanks !!! I got a few coments :0) Just want to help the newbies to know that it's doable - but #1 the band is only a tool and isn't going to do the work for you - IMHO so many pple think that the band is going to do the work and they can still eat the crap that they ate before being banded.. You are the busy girl as usual - glad you still have your boys w/you ;o) I'm going to Zumba on Friday - that's going to be 5 days of exercise this week - Sunday/Plios - Monday/Arms - Tuesday/Boot Camp - Weds/Legs - Friday/Zumba - Guess I can have a nice treat this weekend :0)... Well back to work - Hugs !!!

    Good Morning Gang Had boot camp last nite that just kicked my butt - I didn't get on the computer ... Steph hugs on your FIL issues - let it go... He's old school and he believes a wife should be home.. You aren't going to change that.. The only person you have to worry about it Jeff - it he doesn't mind your travels - the don't waste your energy on your FIL - And you can stand up for yourself without yelling and screaming and cussing - just cuz he's your FIL you can still have boundaries - Candice - what were your calories yesterday- did those sweets send you in to binge mode... I see you didn't post last nite and Peter's still gone right... Phyl - Happy 3rd Band Anniversary - You have done such a fantastic job - you have so much to be proud of - you need to post a side by side of 3 yr dif.. Karla - I see you didn't post last night - How are you.. DD #4 and bf - glad you put your foot down - they are free loading - so DD#4 has moved in w/the bf??     Good Morning Gang Jodi - Zoey is Phyl's puppy - Bella is mine or should I say Andrews ;0) - I want to take a video of her romping around - she looks like a rabbit - it's so cute.. Well I didn't do any computer last night - just to zapped - got to be by 10 got up only once - so not too bad - as usual could use another hr or 2 of sleep.. Welcome home Apples - you are missed when you aren't here - but I bet it's nice not to be so connected - Some time I think we are just too connected - it's one reason I don't have internet on my phone - I would be cking in all the time Well it time to get ready for work - cbl

    113 here today - went to boot camp and it kicked my butt - no fbing and no lbting tonite... I was dripping when I left the gym tonite - got a headache - I have had 60 oz of Water today and ate good - just zapped... HAPPY 3RD BAND-ANNIVERSARY PHYL !!!! YOU HAVE DONE AMAZING !!!     Thanks Peeps - I had bootcamp tonite it kicked my butt ;0) I live in the Desert 113 today - and by the time I left the gym I was soaking wet - Need to eat and veg ;0) It's do-able - You just gotta make the commitment to yourself to get healthy !!!

    LauraK - 81 lbs gone - 15 till you get to normal bmi - WTG - the sooner you get moving the sooner you will get there. IMHO exercise in combination w/healthy eating is imperative in getting to a healthy life style - this is coming from someone who planed their whole life around not moving :0) - It's such a joy to be able to move now a days.. Hows the old bf issue going...

    Good Morning - you all were busy last nite - I gotta hit the showers in a few Gwen - You have to pay attention - being physically full and mentally full are 2 diff things - I would eat my prescriped amount of food - then sit and contemplate my stomach - to figure out the diff between being physically full and head hunger.. It's really hard to do- when you get over full w/the band you will know - you will pb - you will feel a golf ball in your stomach - it takes time and practice Eva - I would love one for the blinds etc - but haven't found any one and truly I rather do it myself and spend the $$$ on something else - my gf pays 200 every 2 week - (I think) that's a lot of $$$ You can't make it stop - you are too tight !!! You need an unfill - losing weight isn't about not being able to eat - it's about eating healthy - in a smaller portion - not at all - you are going to cause your band to slip or something by being too tight and bping... Great - I love the satisfacation I get from doing my own house - at time I want one - I have one sorta - Andrew - but he doesn't deep clean - only surface but at least he cleans Yep agree 100% :w00t: Take the time to contemplate your stomach you will learn The band doesn't make you lose the weight and starving yourself isn't either - you need an unfill !!! Yep Gwendolyn - it is a new journey and learning experience to know what 1/2 c looks like Laurak - when family is here - I still hit the gym - I rarely let anything interfere w/my gym time - so get your butt moving :wub: Charlene - I hear you at 250 i would break out in a sweat from vaccuming - now it's no problem.. what happend to the rest of my quotes - well it's 6 and I gotta hit the shower..     Good Evening Gang... Well been to the gym (weights arms) got home and had to fill out a questionnaire about Idrise (he's going to be making a Exercise/nutrition DVD set) Then had to take Bella out and play with her - had to tire her out - thank God - little dogs don't take that long to tire out - I really need to make a video - Angel is so cute with her - she pins her in like a wrestling move... I go to one end of the yard - clap my hands and call her name - she comes hopping like a rabbit... All the other animals (even sheba) are good with her - they all HATED Ryder - I think it was the size.. We have her baby gated so that she can't roam and pee & poop all over the house - she is so good take her outside and she squats - still hasn't pooped - so in her play pen she went - but she must be asleep cuz she's not barking at the gate ;0).. Dinner's is almost done - fish is cooked and my veggies are steaming (green beans).. PJ - I don't think they sell them at any stores - My Dr sells them and I order them online.. Glad you like the shake... I had one last week for breakfast (pure Protein & banana) since it was last week don't remember if I was full or not :tt2: Charlene - When is the baby due?? I have a gf who has a housekeeper - that's when she started gaining weight - Cleaning house is exercise ;0) - WTG you did that - walked and biked... Phyl when you come we gotta get our dogs together - so feel free to bring Zoey when you come for dinner one nite - it will be so cute... Laura Glad you are having a great time - Can't wait to hear all about it.. Keep the pic's coming.. Great - WTG on getting to the gym - just think of it as your job - there are no if's ands or buts - it is your new lifestyle and pretty soon - it will be come habit - look at me - weights twice a week and now exercise classes twice a week - booth camp and plyos .. I may even try Zumba this friday nite.. Cheri - I guess cuz we live in the desert and can't depend on the rain to Water the grass - we have sprinkler systems installed and on timers - I don't have to even think about it.. The grass waters itself :0) Well it's 8:30 peeps - I need to see if my veggies are done and get ready for tommorrow

    NYC The band is only a piece of plastic - it doesn't lose the weight for you - You do it.. I did the work with the help of my band I have always said that I did 75% of the work to lose the weight by changing my eating and exercise habits - the band did the other 25% by providing restriction.. I take credit for my weight loss the band made the hard job of losing weight just a little easier - but I did the real work...

    Cottage cheese is a slider - so you can't measure your restriction on that or any soft foods - you have to measure it on hard proteins. (heavy foods) Also one day I will be tight - then next day not.

Hugs - Men have no clue - hell Andrew acts like my parent sometimes - yesterday he woke up bitch about something - the dog and I was letting it run loose - (she had been asleep in her kennel 10 minutes before that) - I got dressed and left the house.. Hugs Hugs Hugs - He does have some good qualities or you would have never married him ;o) Linda - WTG on having a PHD in the family !!!     How much can you eat per meal - 1/2 c - 1 cup - 2 cups?? For me the quainty of food indicates my sweet spot - the sweet spot really doesn't have anything to do with losing the weight - it's the foods that we consume and the amount of exercise we get that determine that. Alot of pple hit plateaues - do you vary your calories on a daily basis - I found that do that helped me - but I was one of the lucky ones never hit a plateau..

    Lizzo - You can do it - like I said - take away the diet mentality - replace it with I'm going to eat healthy and I am going to get some exercise.. Log your food - pay attention to being full - it takes a while and maintain your band - just like a car you gotta maintain it for it to work - you have to do the same thing w/your band LBT is a great place for support - It has been mine.. You can do this !!!! Hugs - Janet

    Omg I thought I posted this morning - Been up since 5:30 - Washed my sheets - put clothes away - made bed - tried to hook up my new printer/scanner - kept getting errors - then it was time to take bear & angel to the groomers at 9:30 - went to Pyos ?? Its a combination of yoga & pliates - OMG you aren't jumping around like boot camp - but I sure sweated like I was in boot camp - really enjoyed it - So much so - that Sunday Mornings @ 10 I will be doing Plios - Came home messed with the computer some more - uninstalled printer - tried to reinstall - rearranged the set up of my desk (moved tower = printer - etc - had to unplug and reinstall everything - oh what a pain) - finally gave up on the printer and called HP - got some guy in India - but at least I could understand him - he was really nice - he needed my info address etc - you know you gotta spell it - so I said Indio - just like India but an o instead of an A - he laughed - asked if I had even been to India - said no - just seen it on tv and movies "slum dog millionaire" he laughed - He wants to come to Vegas - again he know about it by the movies ' Hangover ;0) - Really nice guy - took him about 45 mins to fix what ever was wrong - but it's working.. It's 8 p.m. and that's all I did - well picked up bear angel ran to target - got a yoga mat :0) I really need to get off this computer and go fix me some dinner - Oh I had that salmon patty last night - not as good as that restaurant - but ok .. am having it again tonite .. Candice - WTG 1 hr on the bike Steph - Walking taco - sounds good ;0) and ya I think you did good w/that choice.. Karla - I love being orignize - but it's so much work - hope you had a good day. Phyl where are you today how's your fill - how's zoey :0) I take bear & angel to petco - my niece (by marraige to my sister stepson) is the groomer - I told her the story on how Zoey was banned from Petco - LOL

    PJ - Here't the link to Bariatric Choice - there are diff brands - I think the are all about the same - Proti - is what my doc sells - I love the peach mango & grape ProtiDiet Fruit Drink Liquid Protein Concentrates from Pro-Amino As far as what my doc say to eat - don't really know - I think 1 cup - 4 oz of meat - veggies and if any room starches - IMHO you have to be full mentally too - heck 1/2 cup - ya if you are tight enough you will be full on this amount but getting in your pt would be hard and mentally it would be hard too.. I am happy w/my cup of food - sometimes it's 3/4 sometime 1.5.. Thanks PJ - I feel great Judy - With friends like her you sure don't need enemies :0) - kick her to the curb.. Cheri - Hugs & Prayers on your friend - 29 yrs old and dying from having a baby - omg - I thought that only happend in the old days - that's so sad.. Well gang it's 6:57 - been up since 5:30 got sheets washed and put back on the bed - clothes washed and put away - bear & angel went to the groomers - I went to Pyos (its a combination of pliates & yoga OMG I was drip dripping sweat - and it's not you are jumping around like boot camp - but was sweating like I do in boot camp.. I really enjoyed it - in fact got a yoga mat for next Sunday @10.. I have never done yoga or pliates before - think I am going to be sore tomorrow - great streaches for the back and hips - great core work out.. Well came home and tried to install an new printer - well worked on it and rearranged my desk for hours - printer was still giving me errors - then had to go to target get laundry soap etc (and ,y yoga mat) pick up dogs - came home still couldn't get it to work - uninstalled but it still couldn't find a file) so gave up and called HP - got guy in India - he laughed when I told him I live in Indio - just like India but w/an o - he was nice and i could understand him.. Well he got it working .. And now my day is over - work tomorrow...

    Thanks Peeps... Yep head hunger is our #1 enemy !!! I still have it - will be physically full and still want to eat.. Boredom was/is my biggest enemy too.. So that's why half my time at home is spent on the computer - lbt & fb - can't eat if you are typing :0) They have banded our stomachs and not our heads - the majority of our problems lies in our heads not our stomachs.. Take the word hope our of your vocabularies and replace it with will - if you think you can't you won't - if you think you can you will - I am a firm believer in positive affirmations !! You really gotta love you - you gotta be selfish - this is your life pple you deserve to be happy & healthy. You deserve to have your power back and you all can do it - I truly believe that cuz I am no diff than you I'm really not... Irene my gf Love & Hugs - Keep plugging away - You are doing great !!!

    Candice - Great info - I could have written the 2nd one - I'm not one to blame or hold on to the past - for me eating was/is my control - it's what I do for me - it was my love to myself - well now I understand that I was killing myself w/love - Now I still love to eat - I have just replaced unhealthy foods w/healthy ones - and you know what for the most part - it is what I crave now a days.. I have learned to love me in a good healthy way instead of an unhealthy love.. Steph - Whats a walking taco ;0) you did good - it's about making the best choices you can while living life - I am not so anal that I would have packed my own lunch - I would have done just what you did - made the best choice.. Heck if your creamer is only 50 calories - and you enjoy your smoothie - then keep it - just shave off those 50 calories somewhere else 50 x 3 = 150 x 7 = 1050 cal x 3 thats 3150 that's almost 1 lbs in 3 weeks ... See this is why I think you must know calories - it's important - cuz those 50 cal here and there do add up - you don't have to obsess about them but you have to have the knowledge Phyl - Funny about Zoey - why would Tracy be afraid - Zoey just doesn't like being groomed - obviously the lady who had her before didn't brush or groom her - every nite sit w/her in your lap and brush her - Both angel and bear are ok w/groomers - they mind them better than me - Angel doesn't like her face messed w/either - My niece grooms both my dogs and we have already taken Bella to get her nails clipped and I have been brushing her - will make sure we take her early - Puppy school is good too - Bear went - but broke his leg so had to drop out - Thanks for the props gang !!!! A part of my success is cuz of all of you... I went looking for 7/10 group - you know there isn't one - I looked at the 6/10 group - hell hardly anyone even post there - Remember our thread !!! 15 pages in on day in the beginning... Well, your guys love and support has kept me on the straight and narrow and so here's :smile: me thanking you for your love & friendship !!!!

Yep you are so right lbt has been the best support for me - I am lucky when I 1st joined the ladies in the 50's thread gave me the low down on the band - they are the ones who educated me - but alas none of them post any more.. Judy - I would consider the source - you are a beautiful woman - you know where she's coming from.. I would discontinue that so called freindship Joyce - what beautiful words !!!     Candice - IMHO- we have to re-train that voice we have to re-train our bodies to crave the healthy stuff - we have to learn what full is - not stuffed (I still have this issue) - and part of that process is knowing what's healthy - knowing the calories that we consume (as a learning tool) - after years of eating 2 cups of mashed potatoes w/a whole stick of butter - that's what my body wanted in the beginnning - now I gotta say that today it craves more veggies - heck one nite on the island - that's what I ate for dinner was just a plate of veggies... That voice still talks to me sometimes - but I have learned to talk back to it for the most part now a days.. Karla glad you had a good day.. Glad the dog is improving.. You need dinner :0) have a salad - it's cool - I guess you would have died here today - my car said 110 Well, I didn't do too much washed clothes - cleaned kitchen and bathroom - had 2 eggs - took a 30 min nap - showered dressed went to Costco - got meat - fish and those salmon patties - having that and green beans for dinner.. Came home and ran to target to get Andrew cold medicine and kleenex.. Thats' it for my day - tomorrow morning my dogs go to the groomers and I am going to some yoga/pliates class call pyos (sp)

    I thought so too I never imagined that I would wear size 4 pants - hell when I started I thought 160 would be my goal - thought 10/12 was great - but if you made this your new life - then it will become your reality and not a dream...
