3 yrs ago today I has my lapband surgery... 1st year got to goal 145 !!!! (Thanks Karri for being my muse) Got the next few lbs off by Sept 08. Have maintained my weight loss for 2 yrs !!! (fluctuate between 136-140) How you may ask (by following the rules) I have finally gotten that this really is about a lifetime lifestyle change and not a diet I eat HEALTHY 98% of the time - Allow for treats 2% of the time - Hit the gym - weights, cardio & classes 3 to 4 times a week and with the help of my little friend (the band) I have become a healthier person with tons more energy and feel 10 yrs younger.. Life is good !!! And let me tell I have always been a shopper (even at 250) but now EVERY THING looks cute on - Love being a size 4/6 - instead of 18/20 to 22/24 !!! It's doable pple - If I can do it so can you... I am a food addict just like everyone else - the secret - take back your power !!! I walked down the candy/cookie isle in the grocery store last week and snubbed my nose at the crap... That's empowering !!! No I haven't had any surgeries - My tummy isn't too bad - but my stomach didn't hang too much prior to losing so I don't have an apron hanging - my arms aren't great - legs aren't wonderful - I have the body of an 80 yr old:rolleyes:.. I do have saggy skin but nothing that a pair of spanxs and a good bra don't fix.. I don't walk around naked - I don't wear shorts - I wear capri's - I look good dressed. I have started wearing sleeveless occasionally- I am self tanning and arms don't look too bad as long as I'm not waving my arms - Since I work out w/weights you can see the definition on my outer arms.. The way I look at it - the excess skin isn't going to kill me but the fat will. I would love a body lift - but will I have one - Nope - I'm 55 yrs old not 20 (if I was 20 I might consider it:tongue:) I don't like pain and don't have $80k to spend. IMHO don't worry about the skin issues - Congrats on your 40 lbs - Keep up the good work...

Good Morning Peeps... Up early as usual - Need to take car in to get tires.. Really they are still ok for around town but going to Vegas next month and need good tires for then.. Well I'll go to Belize w/you ;0) that somewhere I want to go too.. Having my coffee waiting for my ducolax to kick in ;0) TMI I know but haven't been drinking enough water ;0)

WTG Karla on getting rid of stuff !!!! I'm not too afraid to do things by myself - I will travel to meet pple - but go like on a cruise by myself - or boy an RV and travel by myself - I would like to - but will I really do it - I will go eat by myself - have done it a few times - but not like at a fancy place - and it's usually lunch.. I think the secert is you just gotta do things once and after that it's no biggie.. Like my second curise - I met my sis in FL - I had to fly into Chicago then change planes - Hell the last time I flew before that trip was when I was 15 and flew from here to San Francisco - I was a little nervous - but like I said - once you do it - it's ok.. Just like getting stuck in Dallas in February - If that ever happens to me again - I now know what to do (thanks to Eva) - But I learned.. Being afraid - limits your life - and it's to short to be afraid.. How's your tummy today?? Candice - I think Andrew appreciates me - it's just that I've said no - and he's not dealing w/that well - I'm the one who said to leave - we are just fighting too much.. It's sinking in that he's gone and it doesn't look like he's going to be back cuz he got a dog - and I ain't taking on anymore animals.. I saw him today - I went to the new nail salon and he was there getting his eyebrows waxed (yes boys do that no a days he has funny shaped eyebrows) I am going to miss him - I was just so angry with him but it's best for both of us.. Well got my hair cut - went to find something to wear to the concert - got a pair of 7 for all man kind jeans - they fit like a glove.. But omg they are made for pple w/long legs.. Got nails & toes done too - came home - changes the sheets on the bed - showered - Tomorrow - go get new tires on the car and after that I don't know what..

Hey Gang Got hair cut then went to Macy's - when you want to shop you can't find anything - well I did get a pair of 7 for man kind jeans - $$$ but they fit like a glove - plus I had coupons so wasn't too bad - the only thing they are so long even w/heels - I see why Apples likes them - they are made for pple w/LONG legs ;0) - got 2 tops. Went to victoria secerts - gf said get real sexy bra (it's the name) well they weren't for my 55 yr old boobs - came home and went to my new nail salon - Andrew was there ;o) getting waxed (yes boys do this now a days) I paid for his waxing - he left then called - said thank you again - had come by the house to get some stuff - I guess he got a dog for his Mom's house - So it looks like he's not coming back - cuz no more dogs and it's a big dog (pit bull) I don't mind the breed - I don't care if it was a cat - no more freaking animals.. Said he might stop by later :0)... Ya I guess it's settling in that he's just not away for the weekend but gone - I guess it's going to be a little weird - take getting use to - Linda - you SDS sounds like my DS a few years ago - He's cleaned up his act (for the most part - still shows his true colors every now an then) Prayers for SDD - this has to be so scary - sounds like they aren't sure what's wrong.. Julie - sounds like DD DF is a great guy !!! She's lucky to have found such a great guy - and Mimi's daddy sound like a "Fing" butthead - she's better off w/o him ... I hear you on the shopping - today wasn't my day either.. Joyce - Hugs on you DD issue - it's so tough... At our age we aren't suppose to have so much drama.. BubblyKori - I'm going to kick your butt !!!! Only 14 lbs in 2 months - WTH - that's 7 lbs a month - average weight loss it 1-2 lbs a week - so GF you are doing GREAT !!!!! Heck during my weight loss phase some weeks I only lost 1/2 lbs - but it all adds up - Chill Girl.. Keep up the great work - this is a lifetime change and yep the weight doesn't come off over night - but it does come off... Keep up the good work !!!!

LauraK - I told him to get out - ;0) and this time he did ;0) I just chuckle to myself - that he keeps calling to know if I'm ok - lol I'm 55 been on my own since 16 - Ya I'm ok.. I love that I know Bella's poop schedule - 2 x a day - 1st thing after she eats in the morning then again at night - the other 2 don't seem to poop on a schedule - it does make it easier when trying to potty train.. Desiree Your doc should tell you what you will need - I think a lot of us did Flintstone chewables in the beginning - I do Lapband Chewables - I get them from my doc or online (bariatric choice - or bariatric advantage) I can take small pills - but a big vitamin nope - it will depend on your restriction

Karla - do you have a stomach virus - sweetie you need to call that doctor if it doesn't stop !!! They can't fire the guy - he's an owner ;0).. Well my family drama - Andrew has moved out - we had a tiff again last night about animals - told him he needed to go.. He called right now and said he's at his mom's that he moved out - wanted to know if if I was mad = said no that I think we need a break - he said oh so you are happy (yes I am but can't say that) I said not but need some time apart - we are fighting too much - but that he had to come home 10/1 to watch the dogs cuz I was going to Vegas - think I will ask gf to come too just in case.. But you want to know what - he cleaned the house and washed down the garage (animal's poop in there) .. Though that was kinda funny thing to do if you are moving out.. So I am a HAPPY empty nester for a while - we will see how long it last ... He's welcome home - but this thing about dogs has to quit.. What's everyone doing for the 3 day weekend... Me - Tomorrow hair cut - then a little shopping at the mall - have a concert to go to Sunday (Mary J Blige) so need a sexy outfit - cuz after concert going to club to dance (well that is if the line isn't 3 miles long) Going to get nails/toes done at the new shop that just opened 8/18 here in the neighborhood.. And that's it.. LOL Andrew just called again - wants to know if I'm sad - No Andrew - I'm tired of fighting w/you... Good Morning Gang.. Paid bills between gyms last night and when I got home - was too pooped to post.. Slept really good last night - Bella woke me up at 4:30 ugh.. No work tomorrow - FF Well work - OMG another switch a roo.. The girl who was going to quit because her producer was mean - well she's not quiting - but she's not going to be his account manager any more - they are switching everyone up - I will lose the account that I just got from producer A - Get back accounts from producer B (he's my main producer and these accounts were mine originally) the lady who works w/me - will now work for the Asshole producer.. She's 62 and she should keep him in line.. Don't know all the details - but omg we have had so much drama - the 3 other owners would divorce the 4th (asshole) if they could... So I'm losing 80 account - gaining at least that much back if not more - but ok - as they were originally my account and again they are my producers accounts = Candice have a great time w/Phyl and Hurricane Earl :0) Steph - Painting good exercise - but I know you have back issues - Hows food Karla - I got a click free (backup) for my computer so it's suppose to help when getting new computer - I have ALL my pics on my computer - that's why I got it.. Good Morning Peeps... Karla - I have a 4 day weekend - Furlough Friday - getting hair cut then going to the mall - gotta get new outfit for Mary J Blige concert on Sunday !!! Told trainer we need to change our monday exercise day - cuz I most likely will be hung over ;0) That's if for my weekend.. Jump on in - I know how happy you will be to eat real food... Tell us more about you .. Ok gang - Yep exercise last night but when I was sitting here ready to post - gf from work called - Still pissed that her producer disrespected her they way he did - told her he got all kind of shit from the other owners - We will see.. My main boss asked me to help out - and I started to give him a little flack but backed off some - I just can't take on more work w/o being stressed out - I hate saying this - but it's not my problem - they have cut us to the bare bone - how much can one person do and keep up - they don't understand cuz they aren't doing the work.. In talking w/gf last night her producer hasn't trained his client that he has to have a little time to get things done - they call he jumps - Yes our job is to service our accounts but we have to do it in an orderly fashion we have other work to do - I explain this to my clients - if they want a bond they need to send the paperwork in hopefully at least a week in advance so that we can have everything approved and done - they understand this - All this drop what you are doing and jumping every day makes for a stressed out account manager who isn't getting crap done that needs to get done Well enough - she's suppose to come in today to talk - I don't think she will quit... So that's where I was after the gym last night - didn't get off the phone till after 8:30 I have gym again tonite 2 x's so might not get back here again tonite - but will try Apple & Lori - I'm tan which helps the look of the arms and I do have definition on the outer arm - and I am saying f it - I have very nice shoulders (see I can recognized my good parts) and upper outer arms - so the world can deal with the saggy issues - I bought 2 sleeveless tops and I am wearing them to work.. Apples I like you - I am accepting my body as it is - Still want a face lift though ;0) Haven't heard from that guy - but just being asked was nice enough.. I got the Dooney Burk TSV from a week ago - it's going back too big - Got a B Markcowski (sp) that converts to cross body - love the look (bone & gold studs on it) Don't care for his interiors but will live w/it..
