Good Morning Gang !!! Surpirse it's me ;0) Having a great time w/my sis -- made her ck dumpling soup yesterday - today we are going over later to bbq she weighs 152 lbs between her quiting smoking & eat whole choc cakes and bags of cookies - the steriods she's quite puffy - I have never ever seen her this way - it took a minute to get use to it - will have pic later - I guess she's on a high dose of steriods - which makes her able to breath but when they lower it - that will be the test - my bro in law say that she's in the final stage - I guess they can't keep her on high dose.. But we are having a good visit.. Been falling a sleep around8-9 up yesterday at 7:30 when Andrew called - he got moved in - can't wait to see his apt. Debbie's being Mom while I'm gone to Andrew & my fur babies - she helped him move yesterday as she had a truck - i need to figure out something to say thank you.. Phyl - Hugs on Max - Sorry those kids aren't cool w/the #2 wife that sad.. How's the neck?? They dye was for your hips/back right - but you won't know the results for a couple of weeks if I remember.. Hell my neck hurts all the time - I carry my stress there,, Friday I went to sit in a chair out in the gagrage at my sis - well it had wheels I didn't know that and fell flat on my butt - omg I thought I broke my tail bone - and wrist - but luckly it's ok - butt still sore - but I dont think any damage done. Karla - i beat you didn't eat that bad - now a days when we over do it - we think it's just terrible - when in all reality it wasn't (most times) Candice - WTG for sticking w/program,.. Once you get the sugar out of your system it's not that hard - but skim milk and jello - no thank you - pinapple in red jello and l like sf blackberry jello,. Welk typin on Joseph's laptop not easy - just want to pop in Hugs to all will be home Monday... xoxoxox Janet - -
Joyce Safe Travels - enjoy and relax !!! Ya stress will do it everytime - at least you aren't turning to foods.. Well leaving in 7 minutes... Love to all - may have access to computer to ck in - during the weekend - if I don't Happy Halloween 4 pieces (snack size) of candy and that's it !!!

Good Morning Peeps... I'm leaving on a jet plane (remember the song ;0)... Got to sleep till 6:30 - my knees ached last night - took me a while to get to sleep.. Well never got on computer last night - had gym at 6 - so didn't get home till after 7 - then kids called - then my gf called - had to figure out what I am wearing - kinda hard - cuz my closet is a mess - my winter clothes are in the other closet - then I have the whole airport security issues - don't want to wear boots - so I think I have it figured out - gotta shower dress - got get halloween candy (didn't dare get it last night - cuz I would have eaten it) so this morning gotta run to Target then got to go to some store and get tortillas (fiesta) for the kids - it's their fave and they can't get them up north.. Had my ck Soup for dinner - popcorn - vanilla greek yogurt w/WW cream cheese & brown sugar splenda - one of my fav Desserts - got that from my lucky 7 in WA - They used it as dip fruit - but it taste like cheese cake and I am getting Protein food yesterday - pt shake w/pb2 and banana - salad w/chicken & avocado - bolthouse dressing - dinner chicken soup 1 dumpling - popcorn - and yogurt concoction and 2 sf popsicles - my new thing -when I want to eat ;0) don't need room and 15 whole calories ;0) Yep Sandy & everyone - remember everytime you want to eat something unhealthy and not exercise - it's your old self talking to you - Oh I'm maintaining - Oh one day won't hurt - well yes it will - those one days turn into 2 days - then 3 and you know the rest I love the PB2 too - but it does go fast - 2 tbps spoons - I made it yesterday and gave to some pple on celery - and then gave them the netrion (sp) website - they all liked it.. I put in my vanilla greek yogurt the other night - the choc one - it was good - not to die for - but good.. Eva - I think it would be hard to work from home - I would like to but think I would find a lot of distractions - yep moving rock is your weight training ;0) - How's the food going.. Remember back on track.. Well it's 7 - need to jump in the shower - Love to all may not talk to you all till Monday...

Karla - I wasn't worried about the lean cusine :0) - Well you can have a restful weekend.. You need that.. Phyl - Hugs on the neck/pain issues - hopefully they will get to the root of the problems.. Rest is the best thing you can do.. My neck hurts all the time - I need a massage - I carry all my stress/tentsion in my neck - I know I need a good massage.. Hugs Apples - She is smiling down on you.. Charlene - Sheriff Janet thinks a 100 cal popcorn is just fine and dandy - but again I don't count carbs - I just stay away from starches/sugar/fat - I really try and limit them to 1 meal a day - usually dinner - I think fruits & veggies (in moderation of course) are ok to eat even if they have carbs - it's those starches that are killers.. my 2 cents - I agree about being carb addicts - most pple don't get moritly obese from eating meat & veggies - it's the starches sugar and fats. Welcome back Great - 3 days till 11/1 !!!! Don't over do it so that you have that much more that you have to take off ;0) My girl friend had colonoscpy today too.. I didn't crave anything afterwards ;0) Hope DD doesn't have to have surgery - but now a days they can do so much more.. My nephew's wife was pg - they said it was a girl - FOR SURE A GIRL - They painted the room pink got all girl stuff at the shower - well when the baby was born - it was a BOY... So dont' put too much faith in those things.. Violin - I'm maintenance too - but thanks for the invite Deb hope you feel better... well another drive by - back to work

Charlene - the Munchie Monster hits when I am bored and sometimes at work when stressed/frustrated. 100 cal snack pack popcorn is my savior !!! Now with this PB2 - Peanut Butter & celery ;0) only 45 cal for the pb and I count celery as zip.. Jerky is another good snacky food - takes a while to chew.. I don't keep food at my desk for that main reason - mindless eating.. For me - I just don't keep snack foods around - cuz once I start I just don't stop.. Especially sweet - and as you - I firmly beleive that we must limit bad sugar/white starches ect - and most snack foods are make up of these things I started the 2 hrs ago - wonder how many pple have posted since ;0)

Thanks Christie Suggestion - Take the word HOPE OUT OF YOUR VOCABULARY... Replace it with I WILL HAVE THE STRENGHT & SUCCESS TO WIN THIS BATTLE !!! Truly if you follow the rules - make the changes in your eating and exercise habits you really will acheive success.. Prayers for a safe surgery & speedy recovery.. Hugs Janet

Candice One rule I follow 99.9% of the time is I eat my pt 1st... And that.1% of the time - I may eat my veggies 1st. For me now a days if my meal doesn't include some sort of veggies - I think it's incomplete - again every now and then my meal may be meat & starch- but rarely - I really crave veggies so much more now a days.. In the old days my meal could be 100% starch no meat or veggies - and hell pre band I didn't eat them (veggies) often - I have always liked them but since no one else ate them - I didn't cook them often For me - the way I look and feel now a days - out weighs the lure of unhealthy foods - Ya I still want them - but like I said 99.9% I read calories before I eat anything - even when I buy a candy - I want/have to acknowledge what I am eating Yesterday a company person brought cookies in - Mrs. Fields - I looked looked looked at them - had 1/2 one - really didn't taste all that good - the other half kept calling my name - I mean really calling my name - I just had to say to the cookie - F up - I am not caving - you didn't taste that good - why am I going to waste my precious calorie budget on you.. I am not - I want my ck & dumpling soup for dinner.. Thats' just an example of how I think now adays - my thinking really has changed - even though I don't really count calories - mentally I sorta do - I watch the treats. I made that pb2 last night when debbie was over - we put it on celery - EXCELLENT.. So it will be my snack for the day. 45 cal for the pb and zip for celery - can't beat it !!! -
Good Morning Gang... Never got a chance to post last night - had gym and then Debbie came over so we could go over dogs schedule while I'm gone... Debbie (aka Mrs Tx) Thanks for the update - My girlfreind sis just had shoulder surgery not fun - it may mask the gas pains in the shoulder - gas x strips - I'm like your dh - let me sleep when I don't feel good ;0) - but gotta walk - don't want blood clots.. Quite day yesterday - Julie sorry your pain has acted up - just keep going for treatment - it sounds like it may be helping.. Apples - cold here this a.m. in the mid 50's - no snow - at DS this weekend - cold low 60 during the day and rain ... Gotta go look for my winter clothes - I haven't switched closets yet.. Christmas - oh - I haven't really thought of it too much - do have one gift ordered - luckly I don't have a lot to buy for.. Jodi - I want to try spin - it's on Monday nite - now that my training days have changed - I may get the nerve up to try it.. Sandy - even when you feel lazy - make yourself exercise - that lazy feeling is your old self wanting to come back into the for-front of your life - they want control again... You gotta keep your new self - front and center - you gotta keep up the healthy eating & exercise - you can go to the gym w/o your trainer... No excuses... Great are you back from Hawaii yet ;0) - Novemeber is almost here .... Back on track right - no more excuses... Well it's shower time - will cbl Have a great day everyone...

Good Morning Peeps... Never got to post last night - Had gym then Debbie came over so I could show her how I feed the dogs and their routine ;0) and she stayed till 8 - then it was time to eat ... Candice - So proud of you for getting back on track... I love your counselor - So true - might as well get an unfill if you don't want to adhere to the healthy eating plan.. Never thought to say that... One day at a time - one meal at a time... I would suggest WW but again they really don't discuss reason behind our eating - they focus on eating healthy and tips on how to.. Hugs on Twigg.... Keep us posted.. LOL cking out the calories on the steamers - I look at calories before I buy anything even when I buy treats - When we went to Denny's the other night after the play - they have to give you a nutrtitional chart (new law) debbie's daughter said - oh know you are reading that - yep... cuz that pinapple drink you are drinking has 500 cal ;0).. Phyl - Glad your neck is better - glad your appt is finally here - can't wait to hear how it goes.. On the chick soup - truly all you can eat is 1 dumpling... I eat the chicken 1st and then eat the dumpling - VERY filling.. Well, woke up yesterday feeling like I'm getting a cold - I haven't been sick in YEARS.. I can't be sick and see my Sis - so got some airborne & zamcam - and feel better... Hope I caught it in time.. Have gym again tonite since I can't go friday - Our new training days are Wed & Frid cuz my training partner has class on monday - and since I'm not here friday we are doing tonite.. Gotta pack when I get home - look for my cold weather clothes - 63 during the day and rain - 50's at night.. it's cold this morning... Well have a great day everyone - xooxox Janet -

Your totals didn't show - Lots of carbs for one meal - potatos & stuffing - ;0) - - just trying to help - I eat starches for dinner only most of the time - I do eat starches but not every nite not every meal - sugar & starch turn to fat, make you retain water - just not that good for you.. Good Morning Peeps The Soup was FANTASTIC !!! Had it last night !!!! 1 dumpling and soup - very very good - I put my stamp of approval on it - but only 1 dumpling ;0) - that's all I had - ate the ck first then savored the dumpling it's been 10 or more yrs since I had dumplings - can't remember the last time I had them - My Mom made beef stew and did dumplings - and with chicken would make the flat ones ;0) - but I guess my Dad didn't like them cuz I only remember them when they were divorce - and she didn't make chick & dumplings - just dumplings - it was her comfort food I think - she would take a can of broth and pie curst and make them to eat .. She gained weight that summer I remember ;0) - think those dumplings had something to do w/it ;0) Karla - go visit - just leave the cc at home ;0) - maybe they will buy you something ;0)... Candice - keep us posted on twig... Phyl - sure hope you are feeling better today - you should see the doc if you don't - isn't your appt for your back the 28th??? Good Morning Gang. Chris thinking of you this morning - good ju ju being sent your way.. Yep Charlene - No carbs ;0) - but I did have it for dinner last night - VERY good - 1 dumpling and the rest just soup - carrots celery and chicken... Julie - No I won't be helping Andrew move- I am flying up this weekend to see my sister - and he is suppose to move in 11/1 and that's a Monday - Plus you gotta know Andrew - he will put things his way - he would tell me how to fix my house lol... So it's a good thing I won't be there to help ;0) - Plus he lives on the 2nd floor - Stairs - up down up down - no thank you ;0) get enough exercise at the gym.. I will go and ck it out when I get back - take them grocery shopping to stock their shelves Jodi - I know w/b of a you have to let them know when you are going out of USA not so much in state - I have already let them know will be in Mexico 11/27 ;0) - this Saturday 4 weeks to go..

I guess my bosses prostrate cancer surgery has been put back to 11/2 - he has a cold.. But that works out since I will be out Friday and 1/2 if not all day on monday.. Charlene - WTG on your food - You too Sandy.. Jodi - You are doing fantastic !!!! Jessica - WTG you are going to make a great nurse.. Well back from boot camp and target - making this chicken Soup recipe I found on QVC - David Ventable Chicken - carrots, celery, onion, peas (I'm not doing the peas) ck stock - cream of ck soup - rosemary and thyme- Well I added garlic - and don't have rosemary & thyme so used poultry seasoning and a bay leaf - got lite bisquick for dumpings 80 cal for 1 dumpling.. So all in all not bad calorie wise I don't like the way ck taste when cooked in the crock pot so I am making it on the stove - Here's the recipe - Chicken & Dumpling Soup David's Note: Chicken & Dumplings is a popular comfort food dish commonly found in the South. This recipe converts that dish into a hearty soup perfect for cold winter days. For a richer broth, remove the chicken from the bones as soon as it's tender and refrigerate. Add the bones back to the soup and continue simmering until desired strength is achieved. Strain and proceed. To be prepared in K28786 — Crock-Pot Designer Series 6-qt. slow cooker with stoneware vessel Ingredients: Chicken: 2 -1/2 — 3 lbs. of chicken pieces with the skin removed 4 cups of chicken broth 2 Tbsp. olive oil 1 can cream of chicken soup (Healthy Choice) 1 large yellow onion, chopped 3 stalks celery, chopped 3 medium carrots, chopped 1 cup of peas, frozen or fresh (Leaving out the peas :laugh: 1 bay leaf 1-1/2 tsp. seasoned salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. rosemary 1/2 tsp. thyme Dumplings: 2 cups baking mix (Bisquick or similar) (Lite 80 cal for 1 dumpling 1/2 cup milk (using skim) Directions: In a large skillet, sauté chicken pieces in olive oil until brown on both sides, about 3 — 4 minutes on each side. Put all ingredients except the biscuits in a 6-qt. Crock-Pot or slow cooker and cover. Cook on high for 4 — 5 hours. While the chicken and vegetables are cooking, prepare the dumplings. Mix the baking mix and milk together and form into 1-inch balls. Remove chicken and bay leaf from pot. Take out all leftover bones and skin and discard. Cut the large pieces of chicken meat into bite-size pieces. Put chicken pieces back into the Crock-Pot and drop in the biscuit dough balls. Cover and cook on high for another 30 minutes. Charlene .... WTG on your NSV !!!!! You have a band for a reason - go get a fill !!! Stay away from the starches and sugar period !!!! Muscle doesn't weigh more than fat - a pound is a pound - a pound of feathers is large in size than a pound of muscle - but its still a pound.. I takes a while to build muscles - so I am going to say that it's a weight gain and not that muscles weight more than fat - cuz again they don't.. If you are gaining you are eating more calories than you are burning.. Go get a fill - and be accountable with Sandy & Phyl and Great.. You can do this gf - just quit allowing yourself to make all the excuses you have been making about your eating... 3 days no sugar or starches - do a cleanse I hope to have my Peanut Butter when I get home - tonite Ya Great - feel so sorry for you with all your jet setting... Lucky Girl !!! .

Hi Ka'Ron I was lucky - only had 1 week pre-op and it wasn't Clear liquids - I got a fish and salad for dinner - Protein Soup for lunch - shake or Pt oatmeal for Breakfast'' So don't have alot of suggestions - the only one I have is make home made broth - it so much better than the canned stuff.. 3 More day - you can do !!! What's your post op diet

Ok there must be an email I haven't read - Didn't know Linda confirmed dates :0) Ok - Pick you both up at Palm Springs on Sunday Afternoon 3/13 - Phyl - why don't you plan on coming to dinner that night - they are going to be tired from all that traveling ;0) - Earl & Zoey too ;o) Linda flying home Saturday 3/19 and Candice 3/21 evening - OMG you are a traveler - I wouldn't have done those hours I will have work on Monday ;0) so you can stay home rest up for your 24 hr flight and train Bella :0) lol.. Phyl - Oh you went to Melyvins - Yes very La Te Da !!!
